Gift of discernment of spirits

As we approach the last three gifts of the spirit, let’s be reminded it’s up to us to really research all nine. It will help us to see how the Holy Spirit works within the believers. Most people don’t realize their gifting. As believers in Christ the holy Spirit gives gifts to us accordingly. How do we go about using our spiritual gifts

Today it’s knowing and understanding the gift of discernment of spirits. How are you in judging another person’s character. Do you base it on their looks or what is in their heart. A well dress person could have the most wicked ways. Yet a person who dress like a bum, could be the nicest person on the earth. Our judgement of character is base on the world system. Yet what about our spiritual gifting which the Holy Spirit has placed into us. This gift is the gift of discernment of spirits.

Many ways of looking into this gift, but to understand it is another. I do think it should be a part of all ministeral gifts. Personally I do believe when one is preaching, the Holy Spirit will reveal a person to the minister who might need salvation. The minister who is preaching within their spirit has connected something in the other person spirit. He or she isn’t to judge that person, put feed life into that person as he or she is ministering the word.

This is how most apostles, prophets, evangelist, and pastors operate this gifting. Being from an anointed position, they allow the Holy Spirit to work within their lives. They can discern what that person need in that moment in time. What I am saying, is coming from what I gathered over a period of time within my life. You might look at it from a different view point but one thing I can say it’s the leading of the Holy Spirit by the Devine act of God

I still on the ministeral side of this gifting. When it comes to the things of God it’s my be a mystery to us, but with God it’s all in his timing. The Holy Spirit through the power of God help us to see things in the spiritual realm. By doing that it gives minister the power, to see who need that special prayer. Who might need a special touch from God. As a minister of the gospel it’s not just preaching the word, but ministering to the need of a person. When there is a connection between spirits, there will be breakthrough in the spiritual realm. The gift my be given to a minister or a believer, but how do they go about making the proper call.

When a person start out, ask God if you have this gifting. As you pray and seek God about it, than he will let you know how to use this specific gifts. All gifts are given to believers, but how they will exercise it, is all up to them. With specific gifts people don’t understand how to use them. So they just don’t say or do anything. I do thing the gift of discernment need to be in practice today.

It will come in handy, because you will recognize the type of spirit that is upon that person’s life. With this gift, we will know if that person is a believer or not. The reason why because of our spiritual nature within us. Again this is a gift we need to ask God for guidance on how to use it and when.

As we exercise this gift, we might be wrong at first because, we might be operating out of the natural man and not the spiritual man. As we continue using this gift, asking God to make you understand it better, than you will see how this is an important gift. He can bring a blessing to people and help them to become stronger in their faith.

To all the believers in Christ, we have a mission to be on. To use our gift for God’s kingdom and not for selfish gain. Our gifts is aimed to encourage and enlightened the body of Christ. In doing so they can give God the honor and praise he deserves. Develop your gift in a way that pleases God and grow the body of Christ.
