HISTORY OF GIVINHOPE EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY
GivinH.O.P.E. Evangelistic Ministry has been in the making since 1984. God given me this calling to tell others the good news of Christ.
That was the year when God start working in my life, to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to people on the beach during their spring break. It was under the ministry of the CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST
Campus Crusade for Christ at the time was under the leadership by Bill Bright. It was within that ministry a track was written call the Four Spiritual Principals.
By learning that track it help me to understand the law of God and how he governs the world. Help me to see how sin (disobedience to God) entered the world through on man (Adam) and how we can be redeemed back to God by his son Jesus Christ by the way of the Cross. This is done by, asking Christ to be the Lord over our life. To change us from the inside out. In order we could experience God’s love and plan for our lives.
Still at the evangelistic outreach March 1984 in Daytona Beach Florida a person spoke words in my soul, yet I wasn’t ready for it. The word was within 10 year you will be living in Florida. Went back home, to work, and to college not taking to heart what that person told me.
To make a long story short. I was living in Florida June 1994 ten years later. I didn’t move there by myself, some friends I had at the time, they decided to move to Florida and take me with them. Those friends didn’t even know about what happened 10 years before the move.
At the age of 24 I had known God had something big for me to do but there wasn’t anybody around me to support me to move forward in doing as God wanted me to do.
From 1993 to 2005 I was doing what I wanted to do, but it was a pressing calling inside of me to go ahead a follow the things after God. Jobs was the major factor that had me to the point of not doing what God had me to do. In 2005 I really headed down the road of hardship. Money was tight and time was against me. God had a plan for me to get out of Florida and move to South Carolina.
It took me another 10 years to really answer his calling and the plan he had on my life. While I was working at a restaurant, I met up with some people who had their own ministry. Matter of fact it wasn’t just one group but several group of people that I began to talk with. In the fall of 2014 that when it all came to what God wanted me to do. I started going to this local ministry and I was being blessed. Still God already had things moving in place. I had a little set back in November and December of 2014. My legs were acting up on me to the point of sink problems and sores was on my legs. This didn’t stop me for doing what God wanted me to do and be at.
I would have to say the turning point was in December 2014 when God moved on my life and started to do the work. The sores were healing at a rate that nobody every have seen before. At the end of January 2015 there was no more sores and scars were all healed and you will never notice i had 3 holes in my leg.
The next few years would be a year of blessing and greatness that God did the work all I had to be obedient to his word. God gave me the name of the ministry which was LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE. The name remained for a while but later grew into GIVINHOPE MINISTRY. The next few years I was teaching bible study, Sunday school and even with noonday prayer on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In 2017 I was led to minister at another location by the spirit of God. Not knowing God was establishing me to a point of being unseen yet being what he wanted me to do in the first place. What was that?
Telling others, the good news of Jesus Christ. By me leading the prayer, bible study, and Sunday School it provided me to teach the gospel in the way that he wanted me to do. As I moved on the ministry got more into God’s plan and purpose. It was only leading me into something big in the following years. The ministry was now recording church service to air on TV. The ministry was helping others to air a TV show on MeTV. The airing was in the summer through fall of 2017 in the low country area of South Carolina. Much more we could do if the ministry had support of others.
In the November 2017 the fellowship I was under folded up and I had no other place to go to get the word of God in me. Yet in the same year God already moved within GIVINHOPE MINISTRY to start doing things on Facebook. Previously on Facebook the ministry already had been doing the daily posting or blog to encourage others and giving the good news out each day. God wanted us to do more, and it was to use Facebook as a tool to send out video to others so they can have the word on social media.
In the fall of 2017 and into 2018 the ministry uploaded recording of the word P.O.W.E.R. onto YOUTUBE AND FACEBOOK. You can check the ministry out on YouTube or Facebook numbers of videos in place. The topic to search for in YouTube is Friday nite alive and the topic to look for in Facebook is GIVINHOPE Evangelistic Ministry.
In the fall of 2018, the ministry came up with a teaching either on Friday night or Sunday night calling it Friday nite alive still to this day we are uploading or going live with the videos. Earlier that year God directed the ministry to do a new posting using WordPress.com so we could get the gospel message out. We didn’t know what impact we would be making if any. Each day we try to encourage and enlighten others in the things of God. Now with the ministry in Monrovia Liberia Africa it is a duel ministry page. The ministry in Africa has the weekend motivational blogging or posting and we in the USA has the weekday posting or blogging.
Both Ministry want to make an impact in lives of others, so we just couldn’t sit back and do anything. Since God has given us a platform we must do as his will is for us.
As we moved into 2019 God change the name of the ministry and it has been that name since that that and will continue be that name until God change it again. We grew into what is now known as GIVINHOPE EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY under the leadership of EVANGELIST JOHN CORUM. We have been posting videos, daily spiritual message to encourage the people of God and to bring people into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. God has been go great to the ministry to the point we have our own website with is givinhopeministry.org.
It all started of the spring of 1984 and now it has grown into something I couldn’t have image. This is the history of GIVINHOPE Evangelist Ministry where we do offer a life changing experience through our LORD AND SAVIOR Jesus Christ.
