The new Jerusalem, Holy City

What do most people do before they book a trip? The will gather information about the location they are traveling to. They make sure the weather will be good. They make sure they have the best commendation. Commendations are the best hotel, the best restaurants, best sights to see, and much more.
What if I told you about the new Jerusalem and the new holy city spoken of in Revelation chapter 21.

When the chapter first starts it speaks about a new heaven and a new earth. The first earth and heaven has pass away and no longer any sea. Rev. 21:1. Meaning the entire earth is all land. A land flowing without, any crying, no death, or mourning, or pain. The old order of things has passed away.
Does this get you excited. A place to rest in the presence of God. A wonderful place to be in. This is only the beginning of things to come.
Second we see the Holy city, the new Jerusalem coming down  out of heaven from God.
God is establishing his rightful place on earth in that holy city, new Jerusalem.  Remember this God dwelling place is with his people. God himself shall be with them, and be their God. REV. 21:3

Not only this is a new heaven and earth. It’s also a place of total rest. It give us a glimpse of the type of spirit  that will be in that land. A spirit of peace and rest. Resting know God is with us and he will be establishing his kingdom in the new Jerusalem.

Now hear this, as the one one the throne said. He said I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end. What will he give those who have overcome it all or being victorious over all. A spring of water of life is waiting for those who drink from it.
They will inherit all things. Meaning what Revelation chapter 21 and 22 says about the new heaven and earth it is for those who overcame, and are victorious in the things of God.

We also know in heaven all Pureness lies. In Rev. 21:8 it tells us all the evil people, unrighteousness people, satanic worshipers, people who still do wicked things will have no part in heaven. They will be cast into the lake of fire.

That will be the cost of those who didn’t believe in Jesus or had no partaken of his life. Also one footnote you my believe in Jesus but have you given or surrendered your life over to him. Many will come in the name of Jesus but God will say, I never knew you. Depart from me. That would be a sad day for many.
It will be like taking a trip, when you get to your hotel, they will say you reservation is not. Meaning something happened along the way and you thought all travel plans was in order but because of one little thing had happen you can’t stay at the wonderful hotel. It is one in a lifetime place to stay. They have rejected you and you have to find another place to stay.
Make sure in life you have a heart for God a place for him. Serve him with a full heart, out of love and not out of tradition.

A glimpse of the Holy city will be seen today and tomorrow will be the new Eden.
First the Holy City will be coming down from heaven.
1 it will a sight to be seen. The Holy City will have the glory of God shining about it. The light or the reflection of the Holy City was that of fine precious jewels. Such as jasper stone clear as crystal.

2.  When we think about Jerusalem, we notice the walls of protection. How will this new Jerusalem wall be build. The walls will be built high. With 12 gates angels at each gate. Each gate represents the 12 tribes of Isreal. When we deeper we notice that 3 gates to the north, east south and west a total of twelve.  With in it all we will find the walls had 12 foundation. These foundation had the name of the Apostles of the Lamb.

3. Remember all of this is yet to come. We will the handy work of God’s created city not made by man.  Rev. 21:15-21
The city was made like a square. All sides are equal in length and width. The walls are 200 feet thick. Now imagine this walls made of jasper, one of the finest type of stone to make the wall out of. The city was of pure gold. Gold is a one of the many colors that deals with wealth and it sometimes deals with royalty. 
Not only do we see the city of gold but it is so wonderful it shines like clear glass.

4th the foundations of the city will be decorated with every kind of precious stone. Not just any stone put precious stone. Those foundations stones are as follows
Jasper,  sapphire, agate, emerald, onyx, ruby, chrysolite, beryl, topaz, turquoise, jacinth, amethyst.

5 the gates and the city. The Gate will be made of single pearl and the city streets itself will be of Gold. Yet it will be so clear as glass.

6  no temple. Unlike the original Jerusalem there was a temple. With this new Jerusalem there will be no need for a temple because God and Jesus Christ are the temple.

What more can you look forward to in the new Jerusalem that Holy City. Not heaven because the word said,  it came down out of heaven.  The Holy City, a place where God can be worship and adore.

Today we saw what the future of the new Jerusalem, the Holy City. We see there will be a new heaven and a new earth. It won’t be the same order of things. Everything will be new. A place to worship the true and living God. A square city fortified with thick walls 200 feet thick.
All the 12 foundations will decorated with precious stone. Each foundation represents the apostles. The wall was tall and the city had streets made with gold. They will shine like clear crystal.

What about you have you made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. When I compiled to grow deeper in Christ I realize  how victorious I am in him. I realize as a believer in Christ, when a person name is written in the Lambs book of life, he will be able to see  Revelation chapter 21 unfold in front of them.
Do you want to make sure your name is written in the Lamb’s book of life. Can you imagine to see all that was spoken about today.
I just gave you a glimpse of the new Jerusalem  read and study Revelation chapter 21 and 22 to see what the believers have waiting for them in the new world. Remembered the decision is yours choice life and live or live in darkness and die.
