Welcome back to another episode of a daily dose of medicine for your spiritual soul. Today we will talk about Revelation chapter 21. What awaits the believers in the new earth.
When a person calls a resort for a planned trip, the resort tries to push things upon others. In other words they want to make the person feel at ease. The resort talk about the commendation. The representative will make sure they choose the right commendation that will spark the person’s interest. This is done by getting the person to open up and talk about their likes and dislikes. Now the representative have all the information they need, to reel that person in to stay at their resort. Once they have committed to the resort, then the representative will confirm a person reservation.
The person is happy, and all set for the trip. They are happy, to be going to a resort that will cater to their needs. They have gotton an expectation of the resort, and what it will be like. This was all done by the representative of the resort, they might be in an office that is miles away from that resort. All the information the person was given came from the representative, who can only tell about the resort from the information they have at that givin time. The person is interested in the resort by the words of the representative and not first hand account.
This person is acting in faith, that the resort will be according to what the representative is saying. If they can do that on a second hand account. Why can’t people see the truth in God by others given their testimonies.
People gives their testimonies, to let others know how wonderful God is. People will talk about the saving power of Jesus Christ. Also how the HOLY SPIRIT led them down the right pathway.
Believers are representative of God, they gives first hand accounts of what Jesus Christ has done in their lives. Some won’t accept this because it sound unreal. While others will be blessed, because the believers, had now strike a nerve with their soul and spirit. The person my decide to allow Jesus to come into their life. At this point they have totally access to the things of God.
As they continue to live for God and see his truth and their eyes are open to his ways, greater things will be yet to come. Names of those who had came through all and was victorious in the things of God and Jesus Christ, having be guided by the Holy Spirit, will be written in the Lamb’s book of like.
There will come a day when the believers will be living in the new earth. Revelation 21:1 speaks on this but as we go deeper into the chapter as we discovered the architect of the Holy City and all of how it will be laid out. Now it comes to see what else will be going on with that land.
Revelation 21:22
1st, we notice no temple in that city. The new Jerusalem without a temple. What is going on with that picture. As the previous words said in the scriptures was
the old order of things has passed away.
There will be no need for the temple because of God and the Lamb are the temple of it.
2nd, we notice in revelation 21:23-24, is no sun or moon to shine in it. God glory will lighten the city and Jesus Christ is the light of it. Meaning the glory or the very nature of God will shine and Jesus Christ will be and is all the light we need. We will all walk by he light. The kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.
3rd, no need to shut the gates. The gates of the Holy City will always be opened. There is no night there. This is a reminder with God and Jesus Christ is no darkness. They are the light, and we will walk in that light.
We also know those who apposed God and his righteousness will be in the lake of fire. We notice when kingdoms are attack it is mostly done at night. They don’t want to be notice, so they come in like a thief in the night to attack the kingdom. Here in Revelation, things we see are nothing impure will never enter into the Holy City, not even those who does what is shameful or deceitful. Only those people who name is written in the Lamb’s book of life.
We have sercurity once on that new land. Because the gates will always be open.
Wow, what a day of rejoicing that will be. Now that we know about the new Jerusalem , the Holy City. What more could there be. What we learn yesterday and today is powerful.
We are reeling people into a place, to see how the future world will be. A place of no pain or sorrow. Those who had a heart for God, is in the new land. Do you know this is the future, since God has no beginning or ending. Those who are already living for Christ now and have a heart for God is already in the new land.
Just know our present condition doesn’t compare to our future glory.
We are giving you pieces of the future. A new Jerusalem and tomorrow we will be getting into the first few verses of Revelation chapter 22.
