I am not ashamed

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Romans 1:16‭-‬17 NKJV

Paul to finish his salutation, stated serval things about himself, God and others. Today nugget of truth, is about I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is there about this gospel of Jesus Christ, that makes Paul not ashamed. The preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ bring about salvation in a persons life. This is done by believing in faith, that Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten Son. Whom he sent into this world, to save everybody from the sin of unrighteousness, in the sight of God. As we find out the next two days how did sin come into the world, and how did it change the entire scope of men relationship with God.

Paul also said the gospel of Jesus Christ is God’s power unto salvation, to everyone who believes. How does this happen? When the word is preached, and people are listening to what it being said, it will penetrate the most inner part of the soul. The power from preaching the gospel message, changes a person heart, mind, soul and spirit. How does the changes occur, is by the power of God. It’s by faith in him. As we continue to walk by faith, getting closer to God it changes the inner man. This change will happen only by faith in God, without any doubt or worrying. Only fear we have is the fear out of reverence to God.

Why did Paul close with this and moved on to the next topic? He wanted those at Rome and us today, to bare witness to the fact, no matter what condition you are in your life, you can change. The changes comes, through the gospel of Jesus Christ which Paul preached. It wasn’t about Paul or anything else. It’s all about the death, burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

As we keep this in mind, our faith in Christ. What Jesus and God can do through men, and in men is forever changing into a newness unto God, through our faith in Jesus Christ. What Paul said the just shall live by faith is this. Those who has now come to Jesus, need to understand, they are walking by faith and not by sight. They now followings God’s truth and plan for our life. Living by faith in God and knowing Jesus Christ as our savior and Lord is the key message in the book of Romans.

Finally, to sum it all up, the reason why Paul wasn’t ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ he key it hold one key points. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of salvation. The act of being saved because of Jesus Christ. This salvation is given to anyone who will believe on the Son of God. The work and the action of Jesus on and off the cross. But we need to have faith and allow God to build us up and created in us a newness. The old has gone and everything has begun a new.

With all been said and done we must realize the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We need to know about it’s saving power. Looking at people and their unrighteousness, God had to send his Son into this world to redeem men back to him.

Tomorrow we will see and witness the fall of man, but God’s grace and mercy will win them back to God.

Until then have a wonderful day and continue to live for Jesus and God in a mighty way.
