A.S.K. (Alignment, Seeking, Knocking)

Singapore’s “Light to Night 2026” (10th Anniversary)
This is not just a standard event; it is a milestone celebration titled “The Power in Us.” It is the first time in history they have extended the festival to four full weekends, making it the longest run ever.
The Projections (Station Skinning): Every night, including tonight, the major historical buildings (The National Gallery, The Arts House, Victoria Theatre) are covered in light art. This is essentially “dressing the Station” in light.
The “Private Event” Surge: Today, Wednesday, January 21, the National Gallery Singapore closed early at 6:00 PM for a private function.  The “SANTAI” Series: A major part of the festival this year is called Santai (which means “to relax” in Malay). It focuses on “communal moments of pause.” This perfectly mirrors your goal of providing a “Hill Place” for people to find peace.

I. Global: Regional Reports
Europe (The Arctic Friction): Overnight in Davos, Switzerland, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen issued an “unflinching” warning to the U.S. administration. In response to recent U.S. tariff threats aimed at forcing negotiations for Greenland, the EU has begun drafting a “Strategic Arctic Security” package to
Danish sovereignty.
Middle East (The Board of Peace): Prime Minister Netanyahu has officially confirmed he will join President Trump’s “Board of Peace” for Gaza. This move has created an overnight ripple in regional diplomacy, as the board seeks to bypass UN facilities—some of which were targeted by Israeli crews in East Jerusalem just hours ago.
Asia (Diplomatic Withdrawals): India has taken the drastic step of withdrawing the families and dependents of its diplomats from all missions in Bangladesh. This follows a “communal flare-up” and a surge in violence ahead of the February elections, causing a regional security alert.
Latin America (Tanker Seizures): In a continued effort to exert economic pressure, U.S. forces overnight seized a seventh sanctioned oil tanker linked to Venezuela. This follows the high-profile capture of former President Nicolás Maduro, as National Security Adviser Marco Rubio prepares to testify before Congress next week.

II. National: The Federal Pulse
Supreme Court Gun Ruling: At 1:00 AM, the Supreme Court indicated it is likely to strike down state laws that ban licensed gun owners from carrying weapons into stores and restaurants, a move that would fundamentally shift public safety regulations across the country.
Health Statistics: The American Heart Association’s 2026 update released at 4:00 AM shows that while stroke and heart disease deaths have slightly declined after a five-year upward trend, they remain the leading cause of death in the U.S., accounting for one-quarter of all fatalities.
III. Sports: Champions and Milestones
UConn Dominance: In women’s college basketball, #1 UConn snapped a losing streak against Notre Dame with an 85-47 blowout. Sarah Strong made history as the third-fastest player in program history to reach 1,000 career points, hitting the mark in just 59 games.
Indiana’s Undefeated Standard: Following their 16-0 championship season, analysts are citing the “Hoosier Blueprint” as the new global standard for program building, proving that consistency and discipline can topple traditional sports hierarchies.
IV. The Global Word & Bible Verse
The Word: RENEWAL
To the global community, Renewal is not simply “starting over.” It is the process of taking what has been worn down by conflict, economic shifts, and social unrest and making it effective again through a change of mind and heart. As the world transitions into 2026, the old systems are being challenged, making room for a global renewal of purpose.
The Bible Verse: Romans 12:2 (KJV)
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
The Meaning for the People:
The world often demands conformity—that we act out of fear because the news is heavy or that we react with anger because the economy is shifting. This verse is a mandate for the global citizen to resist that pressure. By “renewing the mind,” the global community can find a higher perspective (the “perfect will”) that allows for peace even when the “rules-based order” is in flux. It is a call to think differently so we can live differently.

Word for the Day & Encouraging Word
The Word for Today: “Victory”
In a morning filled with news of standoffs and disasters, “Victory” is not just about a final score on a football field. It is the spiritual state of knowing that the battle has already been won. It is the ability to look at a world in chaos and see the hand of God moving to establish His purpose.
Bible Verse of the Day:
“The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.” — Nahum 1:7 (KJV)

National News (USA)
Press Freedom Clash: In a highly unusual move, federal agents raided the home of a Washington Post journalist overnight, seizing laptops and phones. The administration states the raid is linked to a probe into classified leaks from a Pentagon contractor.
The Ford Factory Fallout: The video of President Trump’s visit to the Ford plant in Michigan continues to go viral. The White House defended the President’s use of an obscene gesture toward a heckler, calling it an “appropriate response” to being harassed on the factory floor.
NASA Success: The SpaceX Dragon capsule successfully splashed down at 3:41 AM EST this morning, completing the first-ever emergency medical evacuation from the ISS.
The Encouraging Word
Word: Sometimes the “raid” or the “interruption” in your life isn’t there to stop you; it’s there to prove what you’re made of. Whether it’s a global power struggle or a personal delay in your admin work, remember that you are unshakeable. Just like those NASA astronauts, sometimes an “early return” is the very thing that saves the mission.

Today N.E.W.S. REPORT FOR TODAY

Today is May 13th 2025 and the news for today is how to handle stress. How do we handle the pressure of stress within our lives. Some key elements will help us today as we follow this When we put this in our daily life about  resting in Jesus to help us with stress , points to look at are.
1 Trust and depend on Jesus. His truth speaks for      itself
2 Cast your anxiety and worry to God 1 Peter 1:5-7
3 Rest in Jesus. Come to Jesus  MATTHEW 11:28-30
4 Realizing salvation only comes through Jesus Christ
5. Spending time in his presence JOSHUA 1:8-10
6 Learning to be humble and gentle
7 Embracing the teaching and guidance of Jesus Christ. JOHN 14 1-21

Today is March 10 2025 and the news for today is knowing the truth.  Do you know within the 7 points of understanding the truth we come to this  conclusion.  Knowing the truth will make you free. (John 8:32) What is the truth and how does it make us free.  The point Jesus was making within the scripture was as you continue in his word, yes you are his disciples. Jesus himself who was and is The Word according to John 1:1 is the truth and life.  As we continue in his words , his words are true, then we can say we shall know the truth and knowing his truth, God’s ways and his love will make us free.  How can I make us free and free from what? It makes us free from an unrighteous state into a real true relationship with Jesus Christ and God.  We will have eternal life with Jesus Christ and living in the power of God. Know God is our keeper and in him can we fully trust. Today’s news is to know God,  study the teaching of Jesus and you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free

Today is March 8 2025 and the news for today is a word from God in the area of knowing the truth.  Do you know when people aren’t given the whole truth, things can get out of hand.  This week we are looking into ways how the truth can make us free.  7 points of understanding the truth of the matter.  The first point is not knowing all the facts can cause a ripple effect.  How can this happen? It’s like a stream of water. It starts off at one  point and as it flows along it leaves a  mark of where it’s been.  If somebody puts something in the stream,  the stream will carry that item a long way.  If a person doesn’t know the entire truth, the lie carries and everything becomes confusing and contaminated.  Today’s understanding is this  don’t spread the news if you don’t have the entire fact because it will cause a ripple effect, that can cause shockwaves. These shockwaves have a way to affect yourself and  your circle.

Today is Jan 10 2025 we welcome you to our new page.  This page is all about the current news. This will be spiritual news within our world.  We watch many things happening in this world.   Major disasters  have been happening and events  make people afraid.  Today N.E.W.S.  report is letting us know God is in control.  What we see going on in this world has been written in the Bible.  It tells us of the end times and how the world will be in the last days.   We may see what is going on but  it’s just a dress rehearsal for the future to come. God is saying prepare yourself for Jesus Christ return

Today is Oct 20 2024 topic today will be mind games . What are mind games.  Mind games are when you or others put thoughts in your mind that take away from your purpose God put in your life. God has said to people his plan and purpose for their lives. Yet people are convinced not to do that.  When you know without a shadow of doubt it is God who is telling you what to do then do it.  We are servants of God and we are created to do his will. What is God’s will within your life. Each believer in Jesus Christ has a purpose. Don’t let man dictate your plan that God didn’t give to you.  Allow God to build you up within that plan. When we set out on a trip we set our plans way in advance. We research everything and then we decide to go. Why not set the course on the assignment God has given you to do. Asking and seeking God to help you with the task before you. The main focus is to allow the spirit of God work within your life so you can follow the path God has given you to do. When we do this we will bless others and our heart will be encouraged and God will get the glory and praise.

The nugget of truth today is about God is love.  In 1 John 4:7-8 it speaks about, love is from God.  Also it tells us God is love.  Today’s message God is love.  We can look at this by defining the word love.  Love is an emotion. Love also is an action.  God action shows his love.  He cares for everyone, but it’s up to us to receive his love.  God is pure love. The type of love that supports, criticizes. His love can be that of a tough love. When you do  something that isn’t right he will discipline you. He will show you the error of your ways. When it comes to God’s love it is pure and genuine. God’s love has been centered around before and  after he created him.  God showed his love by sending his son Jesus Christ to redeem mankind. It’s now not just for one nation but for the entire world. God’s love is amazing. Read 1,2,3 John the entire book and know about God’s Love, grace, mercy and his ways

GOD’S MERCY

What is God’s mercy? How do we obtain mercy? What is the mercy of the court.? How is all this related to our walk with God.

Yesterday we spoke about grace. God unmerited favor. His grace is freely given to us just like his mercy.  God gives us all mercy but we have to receive that also. His mercy is given to those who have repented from their sins and chosen Jesus to be their savior and Lord over their lives

In life the judge shows people mercy. They aren’t prosecuted to the full extent of the law. They are getting off with a lighter sentence.  Let’s say a person does a crime.  This could be a misdemeanor but the judge could give him or her a lesser charge or drop the case totally.

When God drops the charges because the person has become a believer in Jesus Christ, we can say the case is dismissed. Jesus took on our sins and he already pleaded our case. God mercy is given to  us.  God’s mercy is based on the forgiveness of sins and without holding punishment

With all this in mind our take away is this, God because of his love towards us. Not just this but he shows his love by giving everyone power to be free from the penalty of sin. That is the spiritual death. Which is a total separation from God. Not knowing true freedom and life in Jesus and walking in the ways of the LORD.  It’s all about our spiritual freedom and a relationship with God.

UNDERSTANDING GOD’S GRACE

Today we are going to talk about God’s grace. What is grace and why is Grace a gift from God?God’s grace is his unmerited favor. What is an unmerited favor.  It is a free  gift given by God to be received by anyone who takes it.  God doesn’t show favoritism. Freely  he gives as those who ask of him. Nobody deserves it but God gives it out of the goodness of his heart. What does grace give us. It gives us a new life, not being condemned by God. God don’t bet us up or tear us apart because we have come to know Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. He sees our righteousness because  of Jesus Christ living in us.  To understand all this Romans Chapter 5,6,7,8 speaks on these things and issues. We are now children of God living for him. We grow and build a relationship with God by the way of the cross. As we conclude today it’s only a reminder that God’s grace isn’t earned. It is freely given by God to any one who will receive it.  Grace is the true foundation of love from God to man. Without grace Salvation wouldn’t be made possible.  As we continue to live by grace it helps us to build a bigger bridge within our relationship to God.

Holy Spirit Empowers us

What is there about the Holy Spirit that makes the believers life so interesting. The Holy Spirit empowers the believers for many things. Today and tomorrow it is the power that the Holy Spirit works in us. We are born again through the belief in Jesus Christ. Do you know it’s more than the belief in our relationship with God.  Could it be what Jesus left us as a gift. We can’t make it on our own efforts. In John chapter 14 it gives us the purpose and plan of the Holy Spirit.  When we come to know Jesus Christ and are baptized in his name, the gift he left us is already alive and well within us. It is for us to receive and allow the Holy Spirit to work in us. Some folks don’t know and understand the working of the Holy Spirit.  Today is a quick look into one area that is true. The Holy Spirit teaches us or reminds us of God’s word. It calls to our remembrance what we need to know right then and there.  When you say I don’t believe in the power of the Holy Spirit you need to take a second look. The Holy Spirit Jesus left as a gift, he didn’t want us to be alone in this world without having  comfort in our lives.  Conclude on this though for today. The Holy Spirit was left as a gift, given to men for being empowered to live a life for God. Finally the Holy Spirit dwells in us, leading and guiding us into all truths.

THE POWER OF LIVING

The center of the believer’s living is Jesus Christ.  This week it’s all about the God head Body,  the Trinity.  When we see Jesus as the second person in the Trinity it is there to remind us about the light of God. We know that God is the Divine light of the world. Jesus is the light of the world, and being that light we can come into the realization that there is much more to this world we live in that meets the eyes. When we look into the scriptures we will notice the power we have in living for Jesus Christ and Christ living in us. We are living by faith and the belief in the things Jesus said and the power of God.  The power of living is knowing our life is hidden in Jesus Christ. In Jesus we have our moving and being. Just think how Jesus Christ offered himself for the world.  For those who receive Jesus they do become the children of God. The power in living is to live your life for Jesus and in his power and might. To live your life in the ways of God unto righteousness. Therefore there is power in living for God and Jesus Christ, let’s receive it and believe it, for all that the God head Body has for us.

Looking into God’s truth and ways

Today is Monday September 9th 2024. Welcome to our nugget of truth our focus today is just knowing God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for Yourself.  With each day that passes we who are believers in Jesus Christ need to be responsible for our relationship with God, and Jesus. We also need to understand the working of. The Holy Spirit within us. Today it’s about knowing God for yourself. It’s more than believing it is developing a walk with God. Get to know him each and every day. Today’s nugget of truth is to make you aware of the importance of knowing God for yourself. Since God already knows you why not get to know him and his ways. Why does he love us. Why does he give us mercy and grace. Why did he send his son into the world to save us. What are we saved from. God is a loving god, he cares for everyone, but many will not receive him because they are blinded by false light. When we say as we get closer to God he moves in our life, but we need to be willing to serve and obey him. Finally to close out today, we will explore our deep walk with God. For now remember you are accountable for the relationship you have with God. You can move in it with great power or like some just sit on it and do nothing.  Continue in God to see the power you have with The God head Body

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 8 2024.  Come back later as we talk about knowing God for yourself.

Let this continue to be in your heart

Believe in God, trust Jesus Christ. Live each day by the leading of the Holy Spirit. BELIEVE IN GOD AND GIVE IT ALL OVER TO HIM. SALVATION COMES THROUGH OUR BELIEF IN WHAT JESUS DID ON THE CROSS. God gave his son, Jesus Christ so we could have everlasting life in the presence of God forever and ever. We need to believe in the working power of God. Believe in his truth and his love. God so loved the world so much, he didn’t want nobody to perish but have eternal life. The life that comes through our belief in Jesus Christ. YHWH!!!!!!!! FOR LIFE

Today is September 6th 2024 We want to celebrate the Lord today. This is our prayer, Lord I want to be used by you. Let me follow in your ways.  Lord order my steps. Use my voice so I can speak your truth, let me see your ways Lord with my eyes. Let me use my hands for the building of saints within your kingdom.  Help me to stand up for you and do what you desire me to do. Let me listen to your voice, so I can be led by the HOLY SPIRIT.  Knowing you are the one and only true God in you will I trust. I pray that this prayer will help others to have a heart to be available for God. Thank you Jesus, for loving me and dying for my sins.

Today is September 5th 2024 our nugget of truth for today is there is no other God than you. God is the Joy of our lives. He is the air that we breathe, and the giver of life. We have seen with our eyes and have heard with our ears the many victories that God has given us. Why not give him the glory, honor and praise.  There is none like you my God, my LORD AND KING.  When you go out today just remember God there is none like you. You are my life, my strength and in you I shall not want for anything. Have a great day in understanding that in God we have it all. Just believe and receive it in his almighty name

July 15

Have you ever wondered how athletes are able to endure.  Wimbledon tennis has already started, this is one of the major tennis games in the world.  Those who play tennis show us the ability to be strong.  The normal tennis match could be an hour or more. There is no time frame on a given match. For the men they play the best out of 5 sets. Whereas  women play the best out of 3 sets.  Both women and men display power and strength within their matches. We have said the word strong means to endure, or to have the power to withstand.  Taken a listen from tennis players they need to train their entire body for the match. The need to focus on what is before them.  After the matches are done the victory goes to the one that was able to stand and be strong. They are rewarded after the match with the Wimbledon trophy.  Have the power with us to stand and never quit.  Athletes train in order to win, are we training by reading and studying the word of God.  Tomorrow is about how we continue to stand and face things in life without quitting.

Tuesday July 9th 2024

This week we are dealing with the word strong.  How do you define the word strong. The word itself has several meanings.  The power of a person to complete a demanding task. The ability to withstand a great force of pressure.  Very intense. What the scripture tells us this week  is to be strong.  Don’t give up. Last week we spoke about a runner, they press their way through to gain the victory.  They are strong enough in their mind and heart to finish the race.  We know when storms come into our lives, what is keeping us anchor so we wont give up.  We need to be strong in the Lord, in his power and might. When we do face trails and temptation we have the power of God behind us and in us to stand. Yes we are able to stand and not to quit or give in because of the greater that is in us.  The power that works within us, meaning God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, helps us to be stronger when we allow them to operate in our lives. Last thought for the day is that our rewards come from being strong and never giving up will be greater than being defeated.  Stand up and be strong.

Today’s word is be strong  July 8 2024

2 Chronicles 15:7 NCV
[7] But you should be strong. Don’t give up, because you will get a reward for your good work.”

We like to encourage you today to be strong. Don’t give up.  What do we need to be strong in and why.  I recall my parents told me it’s a mean world out there you got to be strong. This got me thinking about my life in Jesus Christ. This week’s topic is to  be strong in the Lord.  Today is an overview of this week. Just a  reminder that all you do is be strong,  stand firm.  GOD HELP US TO BE STRONG IN ALL THE AREAS OF OUR LIFE. WHEN WE GET TO A POINT, WE FEEL LIKE RUNNING AWAY OR QUITTING DON’T LET US.  LET US STAND AND STAND FIRM.  WE SHOULDN’T GIVE UP OR GIVE IN BUT WAIT UNTIL WE GET THE BREAKTHROUGH.  IT COULD BE GOOD OR BAD BUT WHATEVER THE ANSWER , GIVE GOD THE PRAISE.  OUR REWARD FOR STANDING WITHOUT WAVERING WILL HELP US OUT IN THE LONG RUN.
