We have finished this month on guarding the review is.
Point 1 is who Guards us? We are guarded by God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and other people.
Point 2 God guards us in the middle of danger. We might have been in a car accident but God provided us safely within the car collision.
Point 2 People guards us in a way that we don’t know. In my life people have guarded me or shield me to be in a place I needed to be. To understand that, God has a place for me to be in 1994, because of my roommates I got to that place. Unknown to them God guided them in order for me to be in my safe zone of guarding the territory I needed to be in for a season.
With Jesus he guards us in many ways. He prays and makes intercession on our behalf. That is the guarding expectation of Jesus. The spirit of Christ that lives in us guards us from being devoured by the enemy. The enemy may come but he doesn’t overtake us. We are shielded by the blood of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit steps in to shield guard and protect us. He does that by speaking through the word, the still small voice, and my other means necessary. He guards our steps within our relationship with God. He guards the word within us. Most of all we must listen and be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit of God.
