“I have a question for everyone who’s watching us today: Have you ever stopped to look back across your life and wonder—how did I ever survive that car wreck? How did I survive that childhood trauma? How did I make it through those moments that make no sense on paper? If you never face danger, it guarantees God will provide a way of escape. When we look at Job chapter 1, verses 6 through 12, we see the sons of God coming to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan coming among them. When the Lord asked Satan where he came from, Satan answered from going to and fro in the earth. Then the Lord said, ‘Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth?’ Satan answered and challenged God, saying Job only fears Him because of the hedge built around him, his house, and all that he has on every side. And the Lord said to Satan, ‘Behold, all that he has is in your power; only upon himself do not put forth your hand.’ God placed a strict boundary on his life, proving that until your divine purpose is fulfilled, death cannot touch you.”
> “Psalm 91:11 says, ‘For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.’ And Daniel 6:22 reminds us, ‘My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths.’ Scripture is not static ink on paper—it is an active, living, physical shield.”
The Water (Isaiah 43:2) | 08:00 – 13:00
> “When I look back to my childhood, I remember being down near the water when the current and the deep tried to drag me under. Everything in that moment said I shouldn’t have made it out. But Isaiah 43:2 says, ‘When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee.’ God drew an absolute boundary line in that water, commanded the depths not to submerge me, and preserved me because my time was not up.”The Land (Psalm 91:11-12) | 13:00 – 18:00
> “Then there was the pavement—that severe car rollover. It was a violent crash that should have ended everything right there on the road. But right before stepping into that vehicle on that March day, sitting in church reading the account of Daniel and the Hebrew boys, the Holy Spirit was already spiritually alerting and positioning my heart to watch out for danger. Look right here at the physical reality on screen—the snow on the ground, the crushed metal, the dented hood, and the heavy impact damage. During the rollover, the Bible flew off the passenger seat, crashed right through the passenger window, and landed on the street. When the momentum finally stopped, the vehicle landed upright, back on all four wheels—and that Bible was preserved directly underneath the vehicle. The metal crushed, but God held the frame and kept me alive, proving that the mandate on my life could not be broken on the pavement.”
> We also look at the physical elements—environmental hazards, severe weather, toxins, and unseen forces. Look right here at this picture of the boots and lower legs surrounded by ground-level insect swarms, just like the ants that bit me. Psalm 91 promises protection from the snare and the noisome pestilence. Small forces, natural elements, and physical threats are forced to bow to a higher law of divine preservation. Body and breath were guarded in moments where nature itself and creeping things tried to attack, because God was standing guard over the life.”
> Human Threats & Snares (Psalm 91:3, 5) | 23:00 – 28:00
> “Finally, we address human threats—moments involving direct hostility and close-quarters danger. Look right here at this picture reflecting the human threat dynamic: when an acquaintance went to a friend’s house and they came back threatening to kill me if I didn’t drive them to the ATM machine and take out money to pay a debt. Human hands held threats and intended direct harm, but God stood squarely between the threat and the target. Psalm 91:3 says He shall deliver thee from the snare. The snare broke, the ambush failed, and the door was opened for me to walk out safely.”
