11 years ago today may 24 2015 it was pentecost Sunday. I preached my first sermon directed by the Holy Spirit. The message was you have been drafted into God’s army. After the sermon Pastor Tony Washington said now you are an evangelist. .
The 11 year journey has been a blessing, challenging, and rewarding. People’s lives have been in touch through the online ministry of the Givinhope Ministry. The ministry itself started years before but really didn’t get going until July 2016 a year later. Through all the power of God, the leading of the Holy Spirit and most of all the faith in Jesus Christ to move me and the ministry in the way it is and what is next within the ministry.
We have been leaving bread crumbs for the future name of the ministry. We are still known as Givinhope Ministry of Evangelism but soon it will become Givin H.O.P.E. Ministry International.
But the main trust of the Givinhope Ministry is the fact of Helping Others through Prayer and Evangelism. Go, gather, and grow is the foundational movement of the ministry. Focus from Matthew 28:18-20.
Today wasn’t just a day of Pentecost celebration but of a day to celebrate the anniversary of my life within the ministry. The chance to proclaim the gospel message of hope, deliverance and grace.
Join me in celebration of God power of both the ministry and my life as a teacher, evangelist and a person who preaches the word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Knowing Jesus Christ is God’s begotten son who died for our sins to bring us back to God to live a life of freedom and victory. Not this word STANDARDS but the standard of the Almighty God.
