Kingdom citizen holding a title deed

The Eviction Notice (Breaking the Tenant Mindset)
**Focus:** Introducing the core concept of Kingdom ownership by contrasting the renter vs. owner mentality and establishing the foundational land grant given to Abraham.

The Title Deed of the Kingdom: Shifting from Tenant to Owner (Part 1)

In the economy of the world, ownership is a fragile, exhausting pursuit. You work for it, you trade your time for it, or you build it with your own hands, only to watch economic shifts or time erode its value. The world tells you that ownership must be earned.
But when you step into the Kingdom of God, the definition of ownership undergoes a radical, supernatural shift. True Kingdom ownership isn’t a commercial transaction; it is a legal reality activated by a **Deed of Inheritance**. You didn’t buy it, and you didn’t earn it. It was signed over to you because of whose family you were adopted into.
To possess it, however, you must first break the boundary of a tenant mindset.

The Landlord of the Atmosphere: Renter vs. Owner
Imagine someone renting a house. A tenant has permission to occupy the space, but they hold absolutely no authority over it. They cannot alter the structural foundation, they cannot change the environment without permission, and they live with the constant awareness that their stay is temporary. When something breaks, they are entirely dependent on a distant landlord to fix it.
Too many believers live as spiritual tenants. They treat the peace, joy, and authority of the Kingdom like a temporary rental. They beg God for permission to survive, they adapt to the heavy atmosphere of the world around them, and they live like spiritual refugees waiting for temporary relief.
But an owner operates on a completely different tier:
* An owner doesn’t ask for permission to change the environment or secure the perimeter.
* An owner holds the deed.
* An owner dictates the rules of the house, designs the atmosphere, and possesses the absolute legal authorization to evict anything—and anyone—that does not belong.
God did not call you to rent space in His Kingdom. He signed a title deed that makes you a rightful owner of the territory, the peace, and the authority over your immediate environment.
The Designation of the Heir: Abram to Abraham
This legal reality began with a masterful historical designation. In Genesis 17, God encountered a childless man named Abram (*”exalted father”*) and gave him a localized promise. But before the physical manifestation ever arrived, God upgraded his identity, changing his name to Abraham (*”father of a multitude”*).
*”Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.”* — Genesis 17:5 (KJV)

By inserting His own breath into Abraham’s name, God was signing the land grant. Abraham had to declare his ownership of the inheritance every single time he introduced his new name. He wasn’t working to become a father of nations; he was already holding the title deed to a future reality.
Tomorrow, we will look at how that future deed was permanently activated, sealed in blood, and placed directly into your hands through the New Testament.
