Evangelism: The Devine Mandate

A Divine Mandate: The charge to “preach the word” is a serious and solemn command. It is given “in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus,” emphasizing the holy nature of this assignment. This is not a personal career choice but a divine calling with eternal consequences. As an evangelist, we have been entrusted with the most important message in the universe, and we are responsible for delivering it faithfully.

I recall when I was given the charge to do the work of the evangelist. The calling upon my life wasn’t just for me but for those I will be ministering to.  What God gave me to deliver, it was a precious word to people. For some the word would be a life changing experience.  That is the reason why 2 Timothy 4:1-5 is important to all of those who have been called to preach the message of hope to others.

The charge given to me was my mandate to do what God has given me to do and not nobody else. I can’t be a copycat. The message I carry to others is a unique message. God has entrusted me to carry the gospel message over social media platforms. Not for me to gain numbers and popularity but for lives to be changed one soul at a time.

Like I have said the mission isn’t easy but the reward will be grand. I don’t know who I am ministering to but the word as it goes forth touches lives all around the world.

Today’s message is for those who have been called by God. Preach the gospel, not given into the crowd, but let the word you preach reach the deepest soul of a person. Be led by the Holy Spirit, hold fast to God truth, knowing there is power in the word you say.

The Devine mandate isn’t just for me but for all who have been called out by God to be his servant to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We must faithfully fulfill the calling by the standard that God has given each and everyone.  God has called each one differently but we are in the same boat. This is to carry the message of hope to a dying world.

What is your Devine mandate from God? Since you are a believer in Jesus Christ we have all been called out for a reason. Find your purpose, find your God given mandate, so others can know and understand the salvation plan.  God demonstrated his love towards us while we were still sinners, Christ Jesus died for the world.  Salvation can be yours today a life of freedom in Jesus Christ.  Ask him to be real within your life and you will notice something wonderful starting to happen. Be strong in him and he will lead you through.
