What do you have to celebrate. yes it is july 4th and today America will be celebrating the birth of a nation. As we celebrate let’s give God the praise for all he has done for America and the land we live in. If it wasn’t for God I don’t think this nation would be what it is today. Yes some have taken their eyes of God and his ways. Yet we have people today standing up for God’s righteousness, because of their commitment to God he cannot go back on his promise. God will bless those who worship him in spirit and in truth. By having strong men and women of God standing up and proclaiming the good news of Christ, America is being blessed in a way that we don’t even know. freedom is what it was all about. Being free, no more being controlled. Do you have that spiritual freedom? A freedom to live for God as he wants all of us to do. A life of hope, life of freedom knowing Christ is in control of it all. Being who God created men for in the first place. That is a relationship with him. Many are walking around in spiritual bondage and don’t even realize it.
What I am really saying is God set some rules and instructions in place so we can live by. Since he is God almighty, he has all authority why not listen to him as he gives us the instructions. Many rather be governed by men’s rules that were adopted by God but yet when it comes to paying closer attention to God himself people just walk away
Rules to follow both by government and God.
Why have the government set forth laws? The answer to that is so people would do just about anything they want to. They had to set boundaries so people wouldn’t do any harm to themselves or anybody else.
Now to set things in order have you ever thought about this from a spiritual perspective. Just as the laws given to men by men govern the world. How about the laws and regulations given by God to govern the universe.
The United States wanted their freedom from another country. They fought a war and won. There is a spiritual war, but yet Jesus has paid the price and he has won the battle. To be free spiritually is to surrender to Christ let be that day of your spiritual freedom.
God is saying, today is your freedom day. You have been bound too long and tied up. Time to be loosen from it all. Those who are living a life of sin ( anything that goes against God’s nature) God can set you free from it. It doesn’t matter what it may be. God is saying the choice is yours take my son Jesus Christ into your life and be free or continue in your life of misery.
Let this day be your freedom day. The day you found spiritual freedom in Jesus Christ. Just ask Christ to come into your life. It is a personal relationship between you and Christ. Don’t look at what others are doing but look at what God can do in you and through you.
