Points to take when finding relief. Knowing God’s insight

Practice Self-Compassion

Remember your value in God’s eyes:  You are created in God’s image and precious to Him. Show yourself grace and kindness, letting go of self-judgment.

Recognize that anxiety is not a lack of faith  Even strong biblical figures experienced distress. God desires for you to come to Him with your whole self, including your struggles.

Trust in God’s plan:** Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This involves acknowledging that God is benevolent and competent, even when you don’t understand the circumstances.

Focus on what you can control:** Identify what’s within your control and take practical steps, then release what’s outside your control by surrendering it to God. This helps reduce mental overactivity and worry.

Live one day at a time: Jesus taught in Matthew 6:34, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” This encourages focusing on the present and trusting God for the future.
