Today is May 4th. There was this movie called Star Wars. The slogan or saying behind Star wars was may the force be with you. Today is Star wars day because of that saying and it’s May 4th.
Do you know there is a driving force behind those who are believers in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit itself dwells within the believers. The Holy Spirit leads and guides the believers into truth and the right pathway. Our goal as believers is to follow the pathway the Holy Spirit put in front of us.
We can look at what Jesus told his disciples both in the book of John and Acts. It tells us who, what and why the Holy Spirit was sent here on the earth.
What is the driving force behind you when it comes to living for God. Is it yourself or the power of the Holy Spirit. We may know the right way to go but not listening to the guiding light within us can cause a lot of hardship along the way.
What is right for one may not be what God has in plan for the other. There could be a shift coming and the shift is the direction of the Holy Spirit. Pray to God, seek his direction and understand the working that the Holy Spirit will give us.
The force behind a person is the working of the Holy Spirit. It helps us to understand and see the things of God more clearly. We can be closer to God when we allow his spirit to work on our lives.
Remember there isn’t a push for the Holy Spirit within our lives. He is in us the moment we give our life to Jesus Christ. Do we wait and activate the Holy Spirit? No. It’s hard to explain but the best way to understand it is this. It’s a spiritual anointed that rests on everyone, but people just don’t understand the work. When a person gets a driver’s license, he can drive a car now. You can use the driver’s license as an id. The main reason for the driver’s license is to drive a car. The function of the Holy Spirit serves the believers in many ways but the main truth is the power it has to enable the believers in Jesus to live a better life in Jesus Christ.
