An event that changed my life forever.

How often do you really get to hear a great story. A story that changed lives.  We have fairy tales and  once upon a time story, but what about life changing event stories that make you view life differently.  A change that only happens if you are willing to accept the offer

When a person accepts an offer they agree upon the terms of the agreement.  Within the terms of condition or contract it states everything that person must follow. 

The truth of the matter is the relationship I found with Jesus Christ.  It’s an everlasting contract.  What is the clause within the contract. There is only one clause,  love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul.  Years ago I heard this said and it changed my life forever.

It was an April day and people were talking about their relationship with God. They said how God has made an impact in their life.  From being a wild guy to being a down to earth person who really loves the Lord. How the Lord took things off of him and gave him new found hope and  life for the future.

He went on to say how having a personal relationship with Jesus,  was a life changer.  It wasn’t about anything he did but the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross.  Within a relationship with God there is an encounter you will see. The encounter with God starts from the inside out. 

It’s to the point you desire to do the will of God and associate with people who have a heart for God.  It’s time to examine yourself to see if you really have made that commitment to follow Jesus for yourself and not what family traditions may say.

Follow God  as he directs your pathway because you will need true divine guidance one day. The divine guidance will help you in time of crisis.  You might be in a situation where you didn’t think you would be.  God will step in and help you out in the midst of your crisis. He has done it for me he can do it for you.

On a day in April I really thought about my relationship with Jesus Christ and from what I heard earlier that day I started to wonder if I had that personal walk with God. Have I ever made such a  commitment to follow after Jesus Christ.  That day after track practice I called upon Jesus Christ to make my life more real and to serve him with my entire heart mind soul and body.

Months later I had a new desire to find a clearer pathway to understand my relationship with Jesus Christ.  Reading and studying the real meaning of finding a way to continue to mature into the child of God I need to be in spite of all the mess I was involved in.  I didn’t know what God had in store for me within the next two years but God was able to change my life around. Knowing the real meaning of being a follower of Jesus Christ and seeing others wanting the same thing.

There is more to this story but will continue it later on down the line but when you ask God to be more real in your life be ready for him to move you into a direction you have never been down before.

There is a cost when it comes to being a disciple of Jesus Christ. The cost is not looking back but moving ahead to the area that God has for you. Remember it’s God’s love is true and his word is everlasting.  Be true to him and let not anything stand in your genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.
