Today is a reflection on the road to the cross. Taking the day to reflect the wonderful power of God’s love. Like we have said before God demonstrated his love towards us while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. We can also say God loves the world so much he gave his only son to be our Savior and Lord. John 3:16 Romans 5:8

When God demonstrated his love towards us, it was an active and visible act from God. God didn’t hold back. It poured his love totally out. The way it was poured out we will see tomorrow on the cross and the suffering Jesus had gone through.
Tomorrow we will list the time line of each event that happened starting from the time Jesus was arrested into the cross. Like I said so much happened from Thursday night to Friday evening that the blog can’t contain it all. For now it’s about the love God has towards the world. The grace and mercy God grants to everyone who wants to be a part of his family. God doesn’t force you, he gives us free choice to love on him.
Our relationship with God is not based on tradition but out of love and respect for God, the heavenly Father. As we speak about God’s love and the real cost it can’t be measured. What Jesus went through as we find out later tells us that God’s love was and is stronger than anything anybody could imagine.
God always had love for his creation. From the beginning of time to now. Look what he did for Adam. Created man, gave him a place to have dominion over. In the midst of the garden when Adam sinned, God didn’t get rid of Adam. Adam now entered a new understanding of right and wrong. God gave man the choice to either live for him or continue in their evil ways. Yes there are punishments for doing evil but also God has given everyone the choice to live for him because of his love he demonstrated.
To add it all up the real cost of God’s love is priceless. He showed his love over and over again. Do we recognize the power of his love? Do we know the scope of his love? Most of all, do we know and understand the reason behind this week and Resurrection Sunday. A love of the Father is so great and so strong. His love goes beyond what we can comprehend. Yet we live each day under his love, grace and mercy. Not understanding why or the concept of Jesus being the redeemer of the world, so people would experience God’s wrath but his righteousness judgement.
That is the power of God’s love and tomorrow looking at the moment God’s love was on display for the world to see. From death to resurrection.
