Today is a continuation of yesterday. Today God will help us in the moment of fear. Life sometimes puts you in places where you don’t want to be. One day I went to a bank, while I was there the bank was being robbed. I didn’t know it at that time but this could have turned dangerous. God provided a way that nobody got hurt in the midst of this event. It reminds me of how in Psalms 91 God is my protector. In Psalms 23 in the midst of walking through the shadows of death shall not fear.
Do you have this assurance that God will protect you in your darkness hour. Things I didn’t expect happened, but I had to trust God and rely on his strength to pull me through. How would you handle situations of being held up at gunpoint. God was able to bring me out of that mess. Yes I was afraid at first but the peace of God came upon me, not to fight but obey the command of the robbers. Things can be replaced, but a person’s life can never be replaced when they die.
Today is seeing God as your protector in a situation that you know God can deliver you out of. In the book of Psalms, there are many passages of scripture which tells us how God protected David in the midst of a crisis. One thing I have noticed is God does protect his children in many ways. Ways that we don’t even know. As we are open to his truth and ways, it makes us wiser and gives us the understanding of how God protects and guide us along the way
We sometimes find our own pathway is hard, but as we continue to let God lead us down the right road, God will cause us to get back on track and the road we are on would be the road of righteousness. Our desire is to serve and please him because we know who is protecting us.
We do have law enforcement to protect and serve but no greater person than God that will protect us as we serve and obey him. God is a loving God as well. Look at Israelites they disobey God, but God was still with them. He guided them with a pillow of fire by night and a pillow of clouds by day. God protected his people. Today God is still protecting his people from hurt and danger.
The final word is this God is our protector. He protects us from things we don’t even know. Even in our trouble he is watching over us. God being our protector he will protect us till the day is done. Realize and know these truths will help build a better relationship between you and God.
