Alive to God. Having the right mindset.

Mindset: Intentionally focus on spiritual things and set your mind on heavenly priorities.

Our focus for the next few days is having a mindset  on both spiritual things and heavenly priorities. Our goal these few days is to help others to realize the importance of being alive to God in a way where the focus is on spiritual and heavenly priorities.

As we try to stay alive to God where is  our mindset focused on.  Are we letting the care of life interfere with our relationship with God? Do we let ourselves get down and depressed. Some of the believers in Jesus Christ can’t really be alive to God because they really don’t have the proper mindset with their belief.  Their focus is on the natural things and not on the spiritual or heavenly priorities. 

Today we are laying the foundation on this matter. Looking at spiritual things that can help us with our mindset so we can have the proper heavenly  priorities.  Alive in God does take on many challenges but one challenge is to have a mindset that is within the power of God.  A way of seeing how we can live a life not being defeated but a life of power and authority over it all. This is because of knowing and understanding the right relationship we have with God. 

The lesson today is just the foundation of having a right mindset in order to be alive unto God. The very essence of the Christian journey is to build upon the relationship they have with God. We as believers in Jesus Christ our journey leads us to a point to do spiritual things, such as prayer, worship, study the Bible. This will motivate us more and navigate us to experience the fullness in our life with Jesus Christ. Remember our mindset isn’t on the world system but on Godly priorities within the scriptures and because of that we can continue to be alive unto God.

Walking in the right mindset in order to be alive unto God will be our next lesson.  Learning and understanding these truths will grow us into a deeper relationship with God.
