This is our weekend posting from Givinhope Evangelistic Ministry. Our weekday news is a recap of things that have happened over the week to put a spiritual spin on things.
Fire in California people are asking how can a God do such evil. The question now is have you ever read your Bible. Do you know about 24 died in the fire? We know homes were destroyed, but out of many people living in the area, their lives were spared. Disasters happen but God’s loving grace and mercy has given people a second chance to rebuild. Rebuild what? To rebuild their lives unto him. Rebuild the region to honor God. The God who gives us warning, time after time.
The Bible speaks on what the people of the world will be like at the coming of Jesus Christ. Matthew chapter 24 and 25 lay down the truth about the days leading up to Jesus Christ return. The earth’s pain or the pain in the earth will be like that of a woman who is in labor pain. Labor pain can be strong or weak. The closer it gets to bringing forth the child the labor pain is strong.
Therefore keep a record of what the world is going through in both nature and humanity. The more we see those things come unglued than the time of Christ is at hand.
Today is about noticing the signs of the time. Today is about knowing the nature of God. Yes he is a loving God but also a God who is slow to anger. God is just and see how people have turned their backs on him. God justice will prevail and people will understand and know about the wrath of God.
God’s anger against sin and disobedience. People don’t have the wisdom to see how the Bible is true. Can we not see how in Timothy it tells us how people will be towards God, men and themselves. Looking and wanting things to please self and not God. Moving out into their own selfish ambitions to make them look good.
Tomorrow we will be looking into the state of the world from God’s point of view. How would we react if we were in the position of God. Today’s question was the fire sent by God.
Only God knows the answer. God did some crazy things to get men to repent or turn from their wicked ways. If this was or wasn’t from God will men learn their lesson. What lesson is to be learned from the fire. All I know is that I serve a loving and caring God. He causes things to happen for a reason. It’s a wake up call to everyone. To let them see what is yet to come. Repent and turn from your wicked ways, for God’s kingdom is at hand. Know the season and the time we are in
