Today is Jan 16th 2025 our topic today is knowing we are alive in God by the working of the Holy Spirit. There are only many ways we are alive unto God but for now it’s the working of the Holy Spirit.
In Romans 8:14-17 tell us a lot about our spirit and the Spirit connection.
We are connected by God through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. From the scriptures it tells us the spirit we receive we are no longer slaves to fear. The fear of sin, but we have been adopted into the family of God.
Being alive to God one can say, I am now a part of his family. I am alive within the spiritual concept. Being a part of something that goes beyond the scope of things. Knowing we are heirs of God, knowing all that God has is ours. This is why we can be alive unto him. We are now awake to Spiritual truths, and knowing this we are God’s children. Being his children we are alive in God.
To stay alive in God we need to realize the spirit is there to help us in our daily life. By helping in guiding us into the right pathway. He leads us but are we willing to follow his directions? The Holy Spirit leads and guides us but are we willing to follow? That is where faith, trust and belief comes into place. Continuing to be alive in God is to have those things in place. Faith helps us to see and understand the things of God. Trust is putting our entire being under the care of God. This is the point to say God knows the best for our lives. Since he knows the best why not have the belief in God. The belief to understand God will work it out for us if we continue to follow the directions of the Holy Spirit.
Why is it important to follow the Holy Spirit. What good does it do to follow Him. To be alive to God means to obey him and all that the God head bodily has for us. This will help us in many areas of our lives. We will look more into how the Holy Spirit role is in a believer’s life so they can continue to be alive unto God in tomorrow. This will end the matter being alive to God by allowing the Holy Spirit to be active in your life in spiritual direction and decision making.
