Here in the USA we are going into the holiday season. We call it the holiday season because in November is our Thanksgiving day celebration. It also leads us into the Christmas season.
Many people will get down and out during this time. We have to pray for each other along the way. We also got to be reminded not to get so busy that we forget those who don’t have as much as we do.
Thanksgiving and Christmas are holidays We need to spread joy and love to each other. Many have forgotten that Christmas means more than getting gifts but it is a reminder of the greatest gift given to us all. A savior, the king, and the Lord of Lords. Please don’t lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas.
Most of all let’s be thankful for family, friends, jobs, health and wealth. You might not have much but somebody else is worse off than you. Praise God for what we have and you never know how God will bless you later. If we are faithful in the few things he will give us much later.
As Christmas time comes let’s be reminded of those things that were predicted about Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of those things . As it was written about his birth, it shall come to pass about his coming again. Jesus said he is the resurrection and life. Those who come to him shall not perish but have everlasting life in God.
For all those who will be celebrating Thanksgiving, and Christmas be safe and remember it not all about what you receive but what you are giving out
Be kind to others, be true to yourself and most of all remember God is love.
