Life brings about hurt and frustrations. One thing I have learned is to lean on Jesus Christ. The inner peace comes knowing who I am in Jesus Christ. We also need to forgive and forget those things in life that cause hurt. In Christ we are new creatures. We have a new spirit within us. Yes we do have the flesh, meaning we are in this body. This body is given to us to house the spirit man. We are living souls. God created us to worship him in spirit and in truth. Our inner man doesn’t want to obey the authority of God. Therefore we do what we want to do and not what God wants from us. When we come to Jesus Christ and give our lives over to him we begin to see things differently.
This week it’s about changes in life that help us to see God better and how that is possible. The first one is on fasting. Fasting to help us to rely on the Holy Spirit to give us strength and maybe the angel can minister to us. If Jesus was ministered by the angels why not us. Our truth tomorrow is the super natural power that comes within fasting that people only keep to themselves. There is power and strength that comes through fasting for the Lord.
