Today’s topic is fellowship. We fellowship with a local assembly to build upon each. Today is fellowshipping with the saints of God, not necessarily our time fellowshipping with God.
As we grow in Christ, one of our responsibility is fellowship with like faith. We can pull from each other as we do fellowship. Yesterday is a reminder of how fellowshipping not just inside the church but outside of the church will help each other to grow in the things of God.
How do we define the word fellowship? Can we fellowship outside of the church building? Why does fellowshipping with others help us in our spiritual circle.
When we think about the word fellowship we see those who believe in the same manner together and share common interests. They share testimonies, encourage others, to build each other up in our faith. The spiritual responsibility in fellowshipping is to be a blessing and help to each other, raising people up so they can be encouraged to move out and into the place they need to be.
Fellowshipping goes beyond the church walls. We can fellowship with each other from our house to the library. A group of people can fellowship within the boundaries of their faith in Jesus Christ. By fellowshipping with each other we learn and respect each other more in a personal way.
Finally, fellowshipping helps us to grow in God. We support each other as they face things in life. When we do that it does show we care and respect each other. Now it’s our turn to shine because the instructions are written in the Bible and the key to fellowship is listed also. The verse as it is listed within its content.
Hebrews 10:23-25 KJV
[23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [24] and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
This is what fellowshipping is all about. To conclude this is to say one of many spiritual responsibilities is to fellowship with each other and to help others to grow in their walk with God and help us to do the same.
