On Tuesday we talked about growing in Jesus Christ. One thing about growing in Jesus Christ is knowing about the Godhead. The Godhead body consists of God the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit
We grow into a relationship with God. In Matthew chapter 28:18-20 it gave the disciples some instructions. We will be looking into them today as an understanding of making disciples.
Matthew 28:18-20 KJV
[18] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
What are the responsibilities of those believers that are in Jesus Christ for the new believers. Once people are baptized in Jesus Christ’s name, the next step is to teach or make disciples of them. When we do make disciples of others we teach them. Teach them to observe all the things whatsoever Christ has command. We teach others so they can grow into grace and knowledge of God.
A person can be self taught but it’s really great to have others to teach us in the ways of God. Today it was about our responsibility as we teach and train new believers in Jesus Christ. How will they grow unless we teach them.
Let’s go out and teach and train people into their faith. Don’t let them sit there on their own, not knowing or understanding the word. We all need help to grow in faith. Take the responsibility to reach a person so they will learn and understand all that the bible has to say.
