Spiritual Responsibility in Evangelism

Today we will be looking into our spiritual responsibilities when it comes to Evangelism.

SPIRITUAL RESPONSIBILITY-EVANGELISM

To define the word Evangelism it is the spreading of the Christian gospel by public preaching or  personal witness.

Our responsibility in our walk with God is to tell others about Jesus Christ. This should be a debate or an argument, but sharing to others the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We can share this in many forms. These forms could be preaching, testimony, or a life changing experience you got from God.

People think only pastors and lay ministry from the church can preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. To preach is to talk or proclaim the gospel message that deals with God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit. We proclaim the gospel in hopes to bring about a change in a person’s life. This change comes through GOD OR JESUS. Once God touches your heart, mind and spirit, there should be a sense of drawing nearer to God. When you draw never to God you become aware of his truth and your eyes  will be open. Open to the righteousness of God,  then you notice how Jesus came to save the world from their sins.  Once you notice all of this you can either reject God and his ways or come into the family of God.

This is why we as believers in Jesus Christ need to carry the message of salvation to the people. The reason why, so people will not perish but have life everlasting in God.  When it comes to Evangelism it should be a part of a believer everyday life.  People don’t want to share or evangelize because they are afraid of what people may say or think. No matter what people may think, you believe in God and you know what God has done for you. Therefore we as God’s children need to be more active in telling others about Jesus Christ.

When we share the gospel with others, some will receive the message and some won’t. We need to continue on doing this because it can and will help in a  person’s life.

Our teaching today is our responsibility in Evangelism. People are even trained properly to ministry the gospel when they evangelize.  Teaching others should be a responsibility in this area.  People could go out and witness, how can they if they don’t know how. We all need to be trained in our responsibility as a witness to Jesus Christ.  Some people sit on it to wait for others but God has called all believers out to be a witness for him.

In conclusion, our responsibility when it comes to witness or evangelism is this. We need to be trained. We need to understand God’s ways.  Witnessing is a part of everyday life.  Proclaiming the good news in word or deed is another part of our Responsibility. When we go out and get a concept of the process of our responsibility in Evangelism you will notice and understand the meaning to it all. Lives can change and souls can be saved by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ within your circle and beyond.
