WOW!!! What a lesson God showed me today. One word only and it is called STORM. There is a lesson to be learned about this past hurricane called Debby. I don’t know about the other place this hurricane was located, but all I know is how it causes some damage within this region.
Lets look at the storm and what it brought with it. A tropical storm brings more rain than wind. Out of a tropical storm it can cause flooding, tornados, and disrupt everyday routine. Yes tropical storms like other storms can bring destruction. Yet those destruction can cause a cleaning process.
Storms bring rain, as we look at the rain, what can the earth get out of this rain. A time of refreshing can happen during the rain. The rain could cause flooding, yet within the flooding it washes out things that don’t need to be there.
When we look at the above statement, we can clearly say a storm, big or small can cause purging within nature. Purging meant to get rid of, a cleansing. From this information we can look at a storm differently. It’s a cleansing of those things that aren’t strong enough to hold its pressure under the rain, or wind. What is a storm? A storm could be big or small. Hurricanes are called a storm. We have thunderstorms and those storms could be of no effect or it could bring lots of problems along the way. We don’t know what type of destruction a storm could bring but be ready for anything and everything.
The storm within our lives. This will be our topic for the next few weekends. The purging from the storm.
