A SPIRITUAL SUPPORT TEAM

We need people with godly wisdom to help us to continue in the race.  It’s a spiritual support team.  With people around us to lead us in the right direction we can walk in the truth of God. As we continue to learn and lean on Jesus we can walk in the right pathway.   What makes us stronger is to have people helping us.
reading study and meditate on the word.  not just reading to be reading but disgust the word, getting  it in your heart, mind, soul and body.

How does having a support team help us in the long run. Lets look at Psalm 1

Psalm 1:1-3 KJV
[1] Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night. [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

When we walk with Godly council it will cause you to know God’s truth better. Those that have a spiritual support team grow one another.  I recall being a part of a group in my younger years it helped me to grow in the ways of God. Mostly this group if you had a problem, I could call one of them and this person gave me advice.  This advice came from the scriptures.  The support team would help others to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. 

One thing about having a spiritual team around you they could mentor you, lead you and direct you on a pathway where by understanding our relationship with God.  A spiritual team cares for each other.  Looking back I see, great people who were there  in a time of crisis. 

As we continue in this race, have a group of Godly people within your corner.  One thing that could be lacking in the church today, is the spiritual support team. Coaches that can lead people or train people for this Christian race. 

The main focus of today is to be a part of a spiritual support team. A team of people that will guide people into a better relationship with God.
