This journey in life we found out obeying or being obedient is in our upbringing. We start by obeying or being obedient to our parents. From being obedient to them, we learn how to be obedient to others in life.
We notice at times no matter what or how a child grows up they don’t want to be obedient to nobody. How do we handle a person like this. We don’t, let God handle that situation. In other words we can pray for that person and give them help. Without them having a proper mind set to obey what else can we do.
The act of obedience stems from the word obey. To follow the instructions of. In other words follow the rules and regulations of. These are guidelines set, so there would be order in place. Obeying the authority of others. This comes in place as law is given in the land to be governed by. If this wasn’t so people would be doing all sorts of things. Laws are set to be obeyed, because it is ordered across the board.
Finally, our main focus this week is obeying God in your life. Don’t put your hand in what God promised you. Meaning God promised Sarah and Abraham a son, but Sarah put her hand into the mess. This causes some bad things to happen within her life. She lost faith in believing God is able to do what he has said.
Many people disobeyed God within the bible, yet others obeyed God without any problem . God loves it when we obey him. Things could happen when we disobey God’s specific task at hand. All of those things will be looked at this week.
