Today in the United States we are celebrating Independence Day. The birth of a nation. Our founding fathers of the United States wanted their freedom. They no longer wanted to be controlled by another country. There is a lesson to learn from this. Each day millions of people walk around being held in captivity and don’t even know it. The spiritual freedom we all need is greater than just being free in our United States.
It’s great to be free in the United States but it’s even greater to be free in Jesus Christ. Below is just a reminder of our freedom in Jesus Christ
Since we are free in Jesus Christ remember those 5 takeaway
1. We are free in Jesus Christ. We have freedom from sin. Gal. 5:1-2
2. God gives us freedom Romans 3:21-26
3. We are alive with Christ the old is done away with 1 Corinthians 5:9,17
4. Seek God every day as we seek God we won’t get tangle up in sin. , Roman 8:14
5. Our freedom in Jesus Christ is greater than anything. As we live here on earth you might have some heard time. Don’t go back into being yoked again to sin. Don’t let sin reign in your body to obey the lust thereof. All over the New Testament
Today was a reminder of our freedom in Jesus. We can’t do anything (sinning) while we are free in Jesus Christ. We have become new and our desire is to live for God and not for the world. The truth is don’t take advantage of the freedom we have in Jesus but use it for righteousness in God. Lots more good a person can do, to change the lives of others
