When we look at the scriptures it teaches us key elements of living a God centered life. The scriptures aren’t regular words on pages, but are the written words by many. These words were inspired by God, in order for people to learn the relationship between man and God.
How do we learn? Most learn from one or more of the following ways. visual, reading, or verbal communication. Many visualize as they are reading. They imagine being on the scene as they are reading. With this the bible is made up of history of how man and God’s relationship is about. I have noticed myself putting myself at the scene of what I am reading within the scripture. This is the way I learn and grow within my relationship with God.
The scriptures teach us lots on how to govern ourselves in our life with Christ. We learn from many sources but as we are being taught, God can give us insight on things and the Holy Spirit guides us into the right pathway. We read the scripture and from that we see messages of hope, victory, defeat and what it takes to be a follower of Jesus Christ.
This week we will explore the truth behind getting divine wisdom and understanding of the scripture. We all come from different ways of life, therefore the way we study the scripture will depend on our understanding and the lesson God wants us to learn from it.
Scriptures for this week are Luke 2:41-52, John 14:26, 1 Peter 3:15, and a few other verses. This is a lesson to learn. As we gain knowledge over the years, we find wisdom comes. All of those things come from having a right mind set. A mindset to learn and grow and also a desire to grow into the right relationship with God.
Be with me this week as our teaching is on being taught through the scriptures because it brings us an understanding of the characteristics of God, and his relationship to man. Helping us to grow so we can go out and teach others.
