This weekend there were two types of horse racing in the area of Virginia and Kentucky. One was known as the Virginia Gold Cup . The second was known as the Kentucky Derby.
This weekend we ate talking about off to the races. Why not talk about the current events in those two states. These big events bring people from around the world to see. I recall at one point after the Gold Cup they would have tv monitors in order for people to see the Kentucky Derby.
They are both horse racing but in a different form. The Gold cup is more of a steeplechase race . See picture below. It gives the riders a chance to ride and jump obstacle courses along the way. They also have a contest of judging hats the ladies wear.
This weekend also shared light on the Kentucky Derby. This is more of a normal horse race. It is a track that consists of 1 1/4 mile. Horses start and run this dirt track until a horse reaches the finish line. check out the picture below. People come to show off their hats, suits and much more. It is a big weekend at Churchill Downs.
I just wanted to share what happened this weekend nothing more or less. People enjoy riding horses in many types of events.
This ministry just doesn’t tell the gospel of Jesus Christ but shares to others a good side of life that people have enjoyed for years and maybe years to come. A moment in time my grandmother and myself watched the races on television.
