People might say no, but when God’s plans are still in place and you can’t see it until after the moment in time, that is the reason to give God the praise. Not just what he is doing, but what he has done for you personally in all that you do.
What happened back in the late 1980s was a way to move forward. Moving forward in a moment in time to get me to a place where I needed to be. Looking into what a person told me in 1984. I will be living in florida within 10 years. 10 years later i was living in florida June 1994. It wasn’t directed by me, but God.
Look at the journey that got me to the place God wanted me to be. This road I took within the employment of Shoney’s Restaurant only led me into making decisions that would affect me for a long time. Being hired as a busboy, I moved up and became a waiter. Didn’t think anything of this but the management asked me if i wanted to move up and become an assistant manager at another location. I thought about it and I felt like the timing was right.
This was God’s way of moving me out of and into a place where his work could be done within my life. I knew God had called me into something but yet what i was doing was running or hiding from God in order for me not to fulfill my destiny. Even in doing the management job, God put me in a position to be a blessing to somebody else in their time of need.
When men see your true heart, the heart of God they will understand more about your life than you do. They will see Christ within you. A light on the hill that shines, so others can see their way.

When God’s plan is working those forces will be against us. How do we go about dealing with those times. What I found out is the inner strength God gave me through the Holy Spirit. I realize in a moment in time stop chasing butterflies and look to the one who created all things in life. Not knowing I had the light of God within me and people saw the truth but couldn’t deal with my righteous nature. They tried anything and everything to discredit my work ethics yet people failed, because God continued to be with me all the steps of the way.
A part or a moment of life I missed but now looking back on it, The light of God was shining through me in this sea of darkness around me. I see now how it all unfolded in my life.
