The hope of christmas is happiness. Most view CHristmas as the time of year to get or give gifts or presents. People don’t realize the real beauty of Christmas and that is it brings hope and life to all.
Christmas for some started off as a festival of lights. The celebration of knowing the days will be getting longer and a new season was upon them. Some time back the Catholic faith held mass in the honor of Christ during this time.
Most likely people start saying We are having mass to honor Christ. This could be how the word Christmas originated.
Regardless when we celebrate the birth of Christ in December or not. When Christ was born it brought about change within the world. within the holy scripture it tells us the reason why Christ was to be born
Luke 1:30-33,35 KJV
[30] And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. [31] And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. [32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: [33] and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
[35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
What do we see here new life, new hope, new joy being introduced to the world. and this is why we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Of the most educated people, the wise men brought Jesus Christ gifts. Not just the wise men but the shepherds went out and saw Jesus. They were known at this time the lowest of low. Yet it was the angels that appeared to them with great news. When we see this hope into the world it is to anyone that will receive Jesus.
Jesus brought to the world God’s love and peace. New life to all, most of all he gives salvation to people of the world. His kingdom will be established and it will last forever and ever. Most saw it as an earthly kingdom but it is a holy, spiritual and righteous kingdom.
God sent his son into this world born of a virgin, mocked by some, adorned by others, Yet God gave people the right to become children of God, as they receive Jesus the Christ as their personal Lord and savior.
This is joy, peace, happiness found upon the reason we celebrate the true meaning of the real Christmas. Some people were celebrating Jesus in mass, because of the love they had for him. When we celebrate Christmas, let’s focus on Christ. The love God showed to everyone during the time of both Elizeth and Mary with their babies that became a world changer.
Finally this season is a season of great joy, hope, happiness , and love. For those who know Jesus Christ everyday is a celebration, but today is a testimony of the reason behind the reason. We can celebrate everything else why not give a day to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ for all that he stands for and the life he brought to the world. unto the cross was the plan and purpose, Gods vision of salvation to the world. When Christ died it didn’t end the story but it truly gave everyone new hope because God raised Christ from the dead. When Christ rose he had all power and authority in his hand. To those who receive Jesus Christ becomes sons of God and heir with God and a Co-heir with Jesus. Each person who comes to God can build their own relationship with him and God will use them in his own way.
That is the truth and let the truth of the word set you free today
