Today in life we need to be wise in all we do. Our success story, doesn’t mean we have always been successful in life. Human beings aren’t perfect and we will make mistakes. Those mistakes could cost us our freedom in life or we could be jailed for a short time. One simple question did we learn from the mistake? Did you gain the wisdom from doing wrong?
Today in life, when a person tries to become successful, wisdom is a great thing to have. Being wise in all the decision making. Lets look and see what we can take away from the book of Ephesians chapter 5.
Ephesians 5:15-20 NIV
[15] Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, [16] making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. [17] Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. [18] Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, [19] speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, [20] always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
To have real success in life, God’s way is to live as wise. God wants us to know to live as wise. Living your life knowing and understanding things that could male your life successful. We do this by making the most of every opportunity. We cease the moment. We take charge in doing the right thing, that is pleasing in God’s site. God has established it all and to find out what God’s will is, and what he had in store for you is a very wise thing to do.
We can make decisions but is it the right one? As believers of Jesus Christ we have a standard to live by. When we want to succeed in life we can’t be doing this and that, focus on God’s truth. Our life should be filled with the Spirit. Our lives to success are not to be engaged into the folly of this world. Don’t do things that will intoxicate your mind that would lead you down the wrong pathway of life. Be sober in all your ways. Success comes by being wise in life.
For the believers, it will also come by encouraging each other. How do we do this, by speaking life into them. Life that touches their heart, soul, mind, body, even to their spirit man. Success in life, God’s way comes with things to do and not just sitting on it. We have talked about some already. Those are wise points in which we can live by.
Believers in Christ have a greater command in their lives. It comes with emotions, truth, knowledge and power. Not only does it help ourselves but those around us. Believers go out and speak life into people. They do this from the Spirit, speaking hymns, and psalms. In other words they are allowing positive things to reach others.
After we have given to others we still know, we give to God as well. We give him our praises and thanksgiving. When we are wise in doing things, giving to others, it helps us to understand God’s more. In knowing him we can give God the praise and Thanksgiving that comes in knowing the savior Jesus Christ.
The word today is being successful in life comes from knowing and understanding God’s will. Live as wise. As we live as wise we can do things that won’t lead us down the wrong pathway. We can learn from our mistakes, by doing that we can become wiser in that area.
