As we started our teaching on success in life, God gave me a different word for discipline. The new word now is obedience. In my life to be successful both obedience and discipline goes hand in hand. You might say how is this a way to be successful.
The Word discipline means a trained behavior. A person could act nicely or be rude within a behavior. Discipline also could mean how well focused you are on your goals, talent, and other things you want to achieve in life.
The word obedience comes from the root word obey. Obey means to follow rules and regulations set by yourself and others. Rules are there to set boundaries and keep things in check.
How are they both related to success in life. They are both related to a person’s relationship to self and to others. The most important when it comes to God both are key elements in our relationship to him. great
