Today’s topic is are you rapture ready? Most of us are living day by day. We don’t care about God or any religious organization. Do you know God is a God who wants to have a relationship with you.
God created the universe. When he created man it was for a purpose. It was, to build a relationship with a man.
What does all of this have to do with oil in my lamp. Do you know man sinned against God. When he did that the relationship man had with God was broken. Jesus Christ is the only way to restore that relationship back to God.
As a believer in Jesus Christ there are things I need to do. When I do as God wants me to I am doing his will. So many people forget about God’s plan for their life. They are only hurting themselves as they don’t understand the power. When we are called to do the work for God and don’t do it, it’s like the foolish virgin without the oil.
They knew they needed more oil, but they didn’t carry enough with them. When we have been called out and into the ministry we need to carry God’s spirit with us all the time. We depend on others for prayer, but prayer is useless if we don’t act upon what God has called us to do.
This is a good example of the rapture. We know it’s next, but are we preparing our lives in God for that event. We don’t know the day or hour but we need to be focused. Focus to the point where our life is in the hand of God. Not having a form of godliness but having God in your life in full power.
The real reason behind the teaching Jesus did on the 10 virgins was to illustrate the purpose of keeping the oil within your lamp. Make sure as you wait for the bridegroom, Jesus Christ. Is our life being used to teach, train, help others as we wait for Jesus Christ, the rapture. Jesus is coming back, he is returning for his church. A church without a spot or rinkle. The church is the saints of God and those who think they have been saved might wake up to a rude awakening. They will be like the unwise virgin who didn’t take enough oil with them. They might believe what it takes but they are walking around in the danger zone. Not knowing and understanding the entire concept of God.
Make sure you are rapture ready. Know and experience the real power of God that works in a believer’s life. Carry the touch with you. Lifting it high. Knowing the touch is the savior. As we lift Jesus Christ high, we will draw me into him. Our life as a believer is important not just for others but for our own soul. The soul that is constantly staying on God and doing what God has commands.
Just a thought for today. Stay well and be good. GivinHope Evangelistic Ministry with minister John Corum.
