Seeking God’s kingdom

This week is all about seeking God’s kingdom. Seeking his truth and understanding the two types of spiritual kingdom. Finally looking at the new kingdom of God from the book Revelation.

Let’s start today only to understand there are only two spiritual kingdoms. One God has established and the other Satan has set up. God created his kingdom, yet it won’t be fully established until the later. Satan made his kingdom on earth. God established it but Satan came in and set up his own. Both kingdoms are eternal spiritually, one is of darkness and the other is of the light.

Let’s look at both kingdoms one by one. What is the evil kingdom. This kingdom is in control of the dark forces. The unrighteous things people do. This kingdom was set up to go against the true authority of God. Satan has tricked and is tricking many people today.

Satan wants people to worship him. Go against God’s order of things. Keep people in a dark place. What is the dark place. The dark place is full of evil and wickedness. In that dark place people are doing anything they want to. The rules are set to be governed by, while people are going against them to please themselves.

When we look at the kingdom of evil or darkness, it’s a way of not doing right and a way of giving glory to Satan. The power of darkness comes from a force that is so strong to keep people in place of bondage. Bondage over evilness, sickness, death, and turmoil. They really don’t understand all this and it leads them down the path of destruction. The destruction is everlasting punishment in the lake of fire. This is how the kingdom of darkness or evil is and Satan knows it.

Let’s look at God’s kingdom. What is this kingdom about. It’s about the righteousness of God. Coming to the understanding there is hope within this kingdom. There is a ray of sunshine within this kingdom. God’s kingdom is holy and pure. You still can do and have things but our honor and praise goes to the creator.

There is power in both kingdoms, yet in God’s kingdom it gives us freedom. No need to be under or a slave no more to our desires. We can escape the darkness by coming to Jesus Christ. Again the power to live a good life for God, and doing things for him.

God’s truths are revealed in this kingdom. The main reason for the creation and building a relationship with God. In this kingdom it is is full of light. The light of God. Seek ye first the kingdom of God. All his righteousness. All these things will be added unto you. God gives us things we need. He is our provider.

Why is the kingdom so important. The only way into this kingdom is through Jesus Christ. When you are walking in darkness God can turn you from darkness to light, from the power of Satan unto the power of God. In God’s kingdom we have the power over the enemy. This was proven at the time Christ died, was buried and arose again. He rose by the power of God.

God’s kingdom will never end. Matter of fact once Satan is defeated once and for all there will be a new heaven and a new earth. God will send a new Jerusalem down from heaven and place it where it needs to be. God’s kingdom is life and not death. God’s Kingdom is glorious and his truth will endure to all generations.
