Summertime exposure

This week we have been dealing with walking in your season. As I have walked in the spiritual season sometimes it felt like the heat of the summer. Meaning I have been exposed to God’s son more. Meaning Jesus is being more real in my life than ever.

These are things we talked about this week. We have compared the summer season as one of the seasons we might walk in. 5 takeaway points about the summer season that could be not like the others.
1.Summertime storms( including hurricanes)
2. The fresh fruit and veggies that come up in the garden
3. Vacation period
4. The heat
5. Type of clothes(exposure to the sun

In the summer season people are more exposed to the summer sun. People wear different types of clothing that expose their skin to the sun. We know this because their skin is darker than the rest.

With my experience with the elements of God I notice the more I get closer to him, the more people know I have been in the presence of the Lord. One thing about this type of exposure the sun tan is noticed or can be seen. With the things of God is eternal. It moves from the inside out. Understanding when a person is exposed to the sun too long they might get sun stroke or cancer. Things that work from the outside in.

The take away for today is be wise and know and get closer to God. Let’s be exposed to spiritual things. As we are we can walk better within our season. It brings us to a better understanding of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

The sun is a light that God created to shine upon the earth during the day. If God can create that, he sent his son to be the light of the world. Man is living in a sinful state, yet Jesus Christ came to be the light of the world. People can find their way in a dark path they are walking down in life. Jesus Christ can bring us hope and insure us everlasting life.

If you are in this type of season of growth, remember to continue with God. Stay focused on things that might choke us. The enemy doesn’t want us to move forward in our relationship with God. He knows the power we have because of our relationship with God. Yet as we continue in Jesus Christ be bold and courageous. Stand firm and be ready to share your faith with others.

The fiery darts might come your way. Draw nigh to God. Get closer to him and he will get closer to us.
