We are going to talk about point 2. You know it’s time to plant because the season weather has changed. You see things growing and you know it’s time to start that garden. What vegetables you are going to plant would be the first choice, once the ground is ready. This is just the preparation stage. As we go deeper you will find out how things in summer have a spiritual meaning behind it.
We know the summertime brings out the most wonderful fruits and vegetables there are in most regions. The farmer grows their own crops. Strawberry, watermelon, grapes, corn, string beans, beets, tomatoes and so on.
We know the difference between the fruit and veggies. We can’t call a watermelon a vegetable because it’s a fruit. Therefore as believers in Christ they will be known by the fruit they bear.
Walk in your season as you walk in your season it will bring forth a change in you and those around you.
What is it about FRUIT and VEGGIES. It grows in order for us to eat it.
Growth in God allows us to understand him. We no longer desire the milk but we want the solid food.
Believers in Christ first die to Christ like the seed but yet growing up is hard to do. If you take a look into the summer season the fruit or vegetable that is grown becomes food for people to eat. As believers in Christ we have the food to give to others.
Some fruit rot on the tree. This tells us that people may come to know Christ. They come into an understanding of Christ, yet for some reason they begin to decay in Christ. Outside pressure or inside problems. They rot and drift away from God.
Unlike the fruit it will be thrown away, as it is throw away it can be used for compost. If you think God can’t use you he will use you in any condition you may be in. You can be rotten to the core but God still can use you.
Walk in your season if you are in this summer time season of grow be ready for some changes in your life. The seed has been planted, the storm is coming or has come, be strong in this time because somebody has the need of you.
In the midst of the growing of the vegetable weeds comes up to take away the nutrition for the soil. When we walk in our season we need to be reminded not to let anything come to hinder us. There are many people that want us not to succeed. Just as the weeds try to choke out vegetables, or even bugs or pests try to destroy things we do put a stop to it. Destroy and distract that could come our way. We do this by prayer and relying on God.
Just like some fruit if you eat it before it’s ripe, you will get sick. Just a thought don’t go forth in your season unless it is your season. Never go unless God has given you the task. Walk in your season knowing these things and you will be ready for the next season to come.
