Last week I was talking about flaws or imperfections. Two words stood out as I looked at the word imperfection. I’m perfect. How am I perfect? It’s only in God through his son Jesus Christ.
Today I’m going to talk about a new way of thinking because of your flaws or imperfections. When I talked about last week some people have physical flaws or imperfections, which make people feel less important than others.
What makes up physical imperfections or flaws within a person. This could range from childbirth, or any type of physical injury sustained from an accident. When you have a physical impairment people will look at you differently. I have been there, people have criticized me, not knowing the condition I am in.
I used to get upset and made at it. Now I realize it’s my life. What flaws I have on me or my imperfections it makes my own life unique. First I am not like other people. Understanding this I possess something that nobody around me will understand. I might look or act different from other people, yet because of my flaws or imperfections I learn how to become stronger.
With a person comes their mindset will I stay and feel sorry for myself or get up and say I will face today. No matter what people say about me I know this fact I am a wonderful person. People may say or think whatever about me, they don’t rule my life and can go on each day.
The power comes from God and not man. Man will see you as you. When God touches one life, that makes all the difference in the word. In God we don’t need to worry, we don’t need to complain, God will see us through. We can have a positive attitude within our flaws and imperfection because we know and understand how God sees us. He sees us stronger and wiser. He looks beyond our flaws and faults.
Just be yourself with your flaws and imperfection, in God you are already wonderful and created with a purpose and plan. In our flaws it can teach yourself and others the power of being unique and different. Don’t let people put you down but let them know I might have this flaw or imperfection but I am learning to deal with my problems and that’s what counts.
Today look at yourself not as less of a person. Look at yourself unique in all ways. Look at yourself I will walk past my flaws and see something beautiful.
