For the next few days we are talking about a relationship with God or being religious. Many people don’t understand the main reason why God created things. In the next few days we will see the difference between being religious and a relationship with God.
Let’s start off today by understanding the word religion. What it means to be religious and why there are so many types of religion in the world. A person has the right to decide for themselves how they should worship, but I am only bringing light to the world when it comes to the real truth.
The word religion is the belief in and worship of a superhuman power or powers, especially a God or gods.
The word religious is the practice of what you believe in. The act of religion.
Do you know all religions are based on man belief. It comes down to this, your practice what you believe in. Therefore if you believe in a certain religion you practice that belief.
All religions believe they have the right answer to solve men’s problems. Many religions started out by somebody over the years because they either didn’t like what was said or felt God wanted them to start up their own belief.
This is why many religions are so global today. People now can decide what is right or wrong for themselves. Many people follow their family pathways. Since I grew up in a religion I will continue to live my life according to my family background.
Then are people really devoting themselves to a form or family tradition. Do people really have a mind of their own and to believe in whatever their heart desires are when it comes to being in a particular religious movement.
What is a religious movement. How do people start up a movement and the importance of a religious movement. A movement is an event or an action that a group of people take to get their point across. Religious movements have been going on for ages. It basically lets people know where they stand about the things in life and their view point. They try to bring many people into their belief system. It’s mind controlling factor with all religions in the world.
What is the right religion in the world? There is none. All religions in the world are based on somebody’s belief and traditions. The fact being in a religion to serve a god who is not the true and living God is not right. You may think you are doing the right thing but to take pleasure in something you feel is right and it’s based on the founder other than the true and living God, you are heading for trouble.
Man can’t save you, idols made of stone or any other material can’t save you. It’s about an encounter of the true and living God. The creator of this world we live in. Jesus the Christ is the redeemer of this world and in him we can have life with God the father.
Tomorrow looking deeper into a form of religion and how it has really branched off in different beliefs and why there are so many different opinions in the religious world.
This is a message to make you think about life. It will open your eyes to the truth and help you to understand why people do what they do.
