LETS TALK FOR REAL. Family UNIT: The Father

Do you know when we go to see the doctor they tell people there could be some underlining factors of your medical conditions.

Today’s topic is the underlining factors of the family. What is wrong with the family today? Where have we gotten it wrong. Have we forgotten who is really the head of it all. God is the head of it all. Without a strong Godly presence in the house things might not go that well.

Coming from my upbringing I had a father that loved us in spite of his flaws. He was a great father of caring and providing for the family. On the other hand time spent doing things with him, such as fishing, hunting, camping and other outdoors activities was very limited. One thing I can say about my father is he believed in his garden and provided us the art of knowing how to garden. Fresh food from the garden was wonderful. Tomatoes, potatoes, corn, peas, onions, and the list goes on and on.

In life a father loves his children a lot about his nature and character. How can a father rage help a child to see love. How can an abusive father give life to their son and daughter.

A father has a lot of weight to carry on within a family. There should be a time of the father bonding with their children. Making sure his son and daughter are following after their God given abilities and not what the father may want from the child.

Father supports his children in different activities they may be involved in. It could be early in life or later in life but no matter when it is, it should be about love and commitment. No matter what comes the father’s way the family unit should be first and foremost.

I may not have children in the physical sense but I have many in the spiritual sense. Even with spiritual children time is needed to train them up. To develop them in a relationship with God so they can grow and become who God has created them to be.

Tomorrow we will look at a father from this perspective. MY WORK IS NOT FINISHED YET. IT’S A NEW BEGINNING FOR ME.
