For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:10-13 NKJV
Today is Wednesday. We are in the middle of the week and the middle part of Romans chapter 10. Today is about whosoever. It doesn’t make no difference who you are or what your background has been. Paul said whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. What must a person do with their heart mind and soul as they call upon the Lord.
Paul said, and many people today push the fact of belief. One needs to believe in God, believe in Jesus teaching and the purpose of his coming. The belief doesn’t stop, it’s an everyday experience of God’s love and power within your life. God created all things and having the faith in God is greater than anything a person could have. It’s about the belief in knowing the concept of God and his ways, truth and what he is doing within the world today and forevermore.
Our belief turns in from darkness to the light of God. We are made righteous in God’s sight. Remember one must walk in the newness of life. Walking is an action word. We can’t stand still in our belief in the things of God. It’s an ever going process, like the river flows, it’s a continuous stream of water.
Not only is it about believing within the heart, but it’s the confession of the mouth is made unto salvation. There are two actions we need to do in order to obtain salvation. Those actions come from within and without. It all starts with heart, then we act and confess or do the action. Somehow the word gets into our mind and we dwell on the word that was preached. God touches our heart. The heart, the most wonderful thing about the body. Within the heart God begins to stir things up inside of us.
God states to reveal things to us, he opens us up to a realization that we need him. God shows and demonstrates his love towards us. We then start to believe in the things of God. Once we see a clearer picture, our hearts begin to believe in his words and the word becomes a living within.
After that we explode like a volcano. We confess with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and savior. He died on the cross. We confess our fault and confess our new life with Jesus Christ. I believe in the Father, I believe in the Son, I believe in the Holy Spirit. I believe in what God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit has done and is doing in my life. This is one of many ways God will touch a person’s life for them to be saved or obtain salvation.
Who is this salvation for. It’s for whosoever. Doesn’t make any difference in your race, creed, or color, salvation is for the whosoever. The whosoever will not be put to shame because of their confession to God. Matter fact I do believe greater power of God comes to those who believe. We need to allow God to work in our lives once we gain salvation. Salvation is a process of following God and the things of him. Knowing we have passed from darkness to marvelous light. Knowing we have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ is the greatest thing that a person can know and process.
Finally just know this fact we serve God, that never changes his ways. His heart is for his creation. His purpose in them. To do his will and to walk in his ways. To understand the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the key ingredient of salvation and the life of a new believer.
GivinHope Evangelistic Ministry Continues to bring hope of the word and life changing message each day. God bless and whosoever calls on the Lord will be saved. Believing and confessing God’s truth is the factor behind it all.
