When we look at some super heroes, like spiderman or Batman it was always an event that changed their lives forever. When we face a hardship or for unknown reason a situation comes our way, that event can alter everything there is about our lives.
Bruce Wayne who was Batman, never thought about becoming Batman until his parents were killed that day by an evil person. Bruce Wayne has to do something as he grew older. The flash back of his parents getting murder in front of him was a jolt to his mental being. He wanted to fight crime in a way that nobody ever thought of. He became Batman because of a situation that took place when he was a kid.
Today many grow up with emotions and mental scars on them. It leaves a mark within their heart, mind, soul and body. How do they cope within that situation. Some drown their sorrow in substance abuse. Things like drugs, alcohol, and other means necessary to cope with it all.
To be bothered by a life changing event can last for the rest of a person’s life. Yet hope is only a prayer away. They have said Jesus is a crutch, but in time of crisis we need Jesus to lean upon. He is our leaning post.
Jesus being our leaning post, he will be there to help us out in the time of crisis. For some who has face crisis, things get bottled up inside, they can’t find the release, to that point they explode. Meaning they want to harm someone or themselves..
Do you know that a crisis can bring a person closer to God or they decide to have nothing to do with God. Let’s take the first part to see how that is possible and the second part tomorrow. Within my life God has been with me since I was a young kid. When a problem happened in my life that was beyond my control, I went to Jesus. I continue to focus my situation not on the problem but on the solution.
Yes, there were some identity problems of who was. Very quiet and shy. Not wanting anyone to know about the things I was facing as a teenager. Yet through it all, God was still working it out in me.
Many focus on the problem and not trying to find the solution. That makes the stress out, sick, worried, fearful. They seem to have lost all hope in life. They begin to question relationships and many other things. All of this because one event changed everything within their life.
Why do some find the solution and others become slaves to that event that changed their lives. They have a support team behind them. They have people to help them cope. Most of all there is nothing like knowing, God the father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit as my comforter.
With them all working together, helping someone to cope with a crisis, that is the added bonus. With God and others around you for the support it will make one stronger and wiser. To a point the crisis isn’t a crisis any more but more of a testimony on how God was able to set you free in your heart mind soul and spirit. A new freedom to understand that no matter what the crisis maybe God can deliver and set us free.
Yes at times thoughts may creep up, but we know the enemy is very crafty and tries to take our focus off of God and back on the things we have been freed from. The crisis at times only makes some people stronger and wiser. More understanding of God and his ways
Remember crisis is only there to make us stronger. How we deal with it is another story. As Jesus Christ and God with me, the outer forces did come and try to stop God’s plan, but the inner force of the spirit of God which was living within me overpowered the work of the enemy.
I pray that what I said today will help someone to see God’s love and care about you. People can cause crisis within your life, but don’t let that stop you from living a productive life for God
