What is it with God that gives us new hope and life. In the state of sin God sent Jesus Christ to die for our sins. This was done out of love towards man or humanity. God don’t want people to perish in their sin of unrighteousness. God has a plan and a purpose for those whom he love and for those who believes in God’s and God’s ways.
Today teaching will be broken down into two topic. First will be about the working of the Holy Spirit. Second will be see how things work together to those who who love God. Here is the scripture reading for today.
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Romans 8:26-30 NKJV
The very first thing Paul was tell them at Rome was one of the many working of the Holy Spirit. Truth be told, the spirit himself work on our behalf. The spirit helps us or intercede in our prayers. We might moan and groan in weakness, yet the spirit is there to comfort us and allow us to move on into a better understanding of God and his will.
To see that front this perspective, we can under what Paul said next. He said all things work together, for those who love God. Paul can say this because of circumstances he faced in life. He saw how God watch and protected him in the midst of everything. That is why he said what he did.
Did you notice the key word. What do a believer need for things to work out for the good. They love God. Going back how to we love God, by waking in his ways and honoring him. Since we love his he will work things out for those who been called for his purpose. Paul could relate to this because he was called for a specific reason and purpose. Believers in Christ has been called out of this world and has a purpose in God. No matter who you are let the love you have for God, led you to a place in knowing God is able to such things in your life if it doesn’t look like things are going well
God has call people out to do such wonderful works. The scripture continue to tell us more about God and his believer. Those step that was taken to be in God’s presence so we could be glorified in him. He knew us, he predestine us to be conformed to the image of his Son. Jesus image is one of holiness, righteousness, and also loving and a servant unto God.
Paul goes on to say that we who been predestined, has been called.. For those whom he called has been are justified. The those who he justified are now glorified. Who are the people Paul was referring to. It was and is the believers. How is that so.
God is the almighty. He knows and understand the heart of men. He knows those whom he has predestine. Since he called them out for a reason and a purpose, they are now justified through Jesus Christ. We are not guilty of our unrighteous, but have a new life in Jesus Christ. In that new life we are justified. Not just justified but are glorified also. We have been given so much because of God. We no longer can sit back and wait. We can press forward into the things of God. Know how much he already has given us is enough to praise him and honer him with our love towards him.
