The glory that shall be revealed

What is that glory that shall be revealed. What is the hope the believers have in Jesus Christ? The truth will be told today according to Romans 8:18-25

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
Romans 8:18‭-‬25 NKJV

Remember the believers in Jesus Christ was suffering because of the message of life in Jesus . In Jesus you can be save. The Christian was being killed because of their Faith in Jesus Christ. That was one of the reasons Paul mentioned this in verse 18. To see Paul point let me put it into today language. You might be suffering in your faith because of Christ now. With believers being murder, set to prison and other things that they might be going through it seems like it’s useless. Yet Paul assured them those things they are experiencing at the moment don’t compare to the glory that will be revealed.

We eagerly wait for that hope. The hope that is in Jesus Christ. We hope in the glory of Jesus Christ. We wait with preservence for that day Jesus Christ return. This is one example we could look at.

The second example that just hit me was the redemption in which Jesus Christ gave to the world. The world was in darkness because of sin. Man was hopeless and the relationship with God wasn’t their to all in a personal way. So people suffer waiting for the moment. A king a leader that would come forth and save the nation Israel. He would be their king.

If you go deeper into the scripture you see something else. It’s a parallel to the first and the last. It’s some you might miss if you don’t see it closely. It’s about the hope. What good is hope if we see that hope. What was and is the hope Paul was saying here. As I read this the hope is Jesus Christ. Before, and after the cross. The message of the coming Messiah, soon coming king. It was the hope people was looking for. Without that hope many would have given up.

Jesus himself many rejected him because they was looking for a real king to rule over the people at that time. They didn’t see Jesus as a spiritual king. He was sent to set those people who was slave to sin and doing unrighteousness in God sight free. Free from the law but life in the spirit that is in Jesus Christ. Jesus death gave us new hope. It’s gives us the power to live for God and not to live up to the world system of things.

The verses also tells us to wait with hope and the hope will produce perseverance. People waited for Jesus Christ the first time. The scripture says Jesus Christ has come to save the world from their sins. In which he did. Jesus Christ said he will return. This is yet to come, we wait with the hope of seeing Jesus Christ in all of his glory.

This will happen. It will be a wonderful day, Christ in all his glory. Can you image seeing this. The rapture will be to quick to see his glory. It will be a time when the entire creation of God will witness such a wonderful and a Godly event. Don’t give up your fight of faith. Yes this world we live in is good but the people are evil and corrupt.

Hold on in there, have that hope, the hope we will have in Jesus Christ. One day it will be reveal the glorious and wonderful sight of Jesus Christ. He will be coming as the conqueror king. The Alpha and Omega. We all know that this is the hope of the believers who are in Christ Jesus
