What will be my wages

We are looking into Romans chapter 6. The key verse is Romans 6:23.

We have talked about those who are believers has an obligation to do. This obligation is to live for God and don’t let sin again reign in your mortal body, to obey the lust thereof. Our faithful comes in to play because we now believe in Christ. Jesus died for the world, and through him we can have everlasting life.

What is this everlasting life and what is this death that is spoken of in Romans 6:23.

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:20‭-‬23 NKJV

What in life do we get our wages for. What is me everlasting payment for living in this world. First we are all created for a reason and a purpose. Will that purpose be fulfilled within our lives,it is up to that individual. The question that is on my mind since God has known us in when womb of our mother, is our steps is already ordered by the Lord. I really can’t say yes or no. One thing I do know each person has their own mind and how they decide to live is up to them.

What if God say I have a plan for your life. Yet you don’t follow that plan accordingly to what you feel the need to do at the moment. Other word you gotten off on the wrong path. Yet you still feel the Lord or God leading you towards that pathway he called you to. At one point a person will break and his own fate will be in his own hands. He could continue to not follow God, or living the life of obedience to God.

How you live your life will determine your everlasting reward. I really don’t want to give harshed but let the truth be told. If a person continue to be a sinner. A person who don’t obey God. Who live a life of unrighteousness, or know God but don’t listen to those commands he has given us to do for him. What will be their eternal payment.

The bible speakers on the wages of sin is death. Death in not knowing who God is. The spiritual separation between God and man. Yet God had given a gift to all. That gift is eternal life in Jesus Christ. Yet there is a reward in serving God through Jesus Christ.

We do know that those who die in their sins will have no part of God’s kingdom. Their final judgement is the lake of fire, tormented for the rest of eternity. What about those who believes, yet not living to their potential to God. They also will receive their just rewards.

Notice the difference wages and rewards. The sinners who die will get their wages but their wages will be eternal death. Those who believes in God will receive their reward. We don’t know what their reward will be. One thing I can tell you they will have eternal life with God in his kingdom. Not death but life in God and hope in Jesus Christ.

No one can force you to serve God. It is a choice between God and man. When God comes into your life he is given you the chance to have eternal life in him because of his son Jesus Christ. It’s a free will now, but later we will all acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord. Whether you be in the lake of fire or on the new earth, people will confess who Jesus Christ is

What will your eternal wages be life in the new kingdom or death in the lake of fire.
