As we about to finish up the teaching of the Hebrew boys, it’s all about our freedom in God. The choice there Hebrew boys had to face was life or death situation. When we trust God in everything we come out victorious. It may not seem that way all the time but with God on our side we have the victory.
Today well see the three Hebrew boys coming out of the firery furnace. Remember it’s all about what God can do for us in the midst of it all.
Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.
Daniel 3:26-27 NKJV
What will happen when God delivers us? People will acknowledge who we serve. For we serve the Most High God. The king acknowledge the three Hebrew boys as servants of the Most High God. Now we see the king understood how the true and living God works. The power of God make everything seem to be so easy but it only slows his love, his power and provision. As the king called everyone under his authority, they saw no harm or hurt done to those three Hebrews boys. Hot hurt by fire, no smoke residue left on them, and hair not burned. God power that work within their lives was powerful than they could imagine.
I do think they was wondering what just happened, what is going on here. They were all amazed at the power of God. The witness a miracle and something only the true and living God could do. No seeing all those things what did the king do.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”
Daniel 3:28-29 NKJV
What a switch, after God does a miracle people start believing him him. I do think the king had some understanding of God but to see God’s actions first hand, changed the scope of things. First the king said blessed be the God of the three Hebrew boys, who God sent his angels and delivered them. God did all this because they trusted God. Since those events did occur, they now have frustrated the kings word. The king made a new statement. Let the three Hebrew boys continue to serve their God. What he saw and witness gave him proof about God. He was so overwhelmed by this, he sent out a decree. The decree said those who speaks anything against the God of Shadrach Meshach and Abed-Nego will be cut to pieces, even their house shall be burned .
The truth of the matter is this, there is no other God that can save, heal and deliver people such as the almighty God. The bottom line is this. When people witness the move of God, they will say what is going on, or w he at just happened.
The takeaway from today lesson is looking at the miracles of God, changed the mind of the king. When God is moving and doing his work in our lives. He just letting people see his miracles happening and his power working. Don’t take God for granted, worship and praise in power and in truth.
