Welcome to our nightly edition. Our soul purpose is to bring you the word as the Holy Spirit reveals it to me.
Romans chapter four is built around faith. It’s not the faith of hoping for something, but it the faith we have in God. Our belief or faith teaches us that God is Almighty. He is the creator of all things. The faith in this chapter is the belief in God.
Believing God will do what he has said. Our faith also comes from knowing that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried and rose again by God’s power.
Many people who walked with God, had faith in him. The faith in knowing God will provide our daily needs. Faith in God can go many ways but today it’s about the belief in knowing who God is and how he has watched over this world since day one.
People put their faith in objects and things but the truth of it all those things will all decay. God himself will be here forever and ever. The entire principle for being a Christian is our faith we have in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. When we understand the concept of faith or belief in God it will help us to understand his purpose and plan within our lives
Abraham was to be the father of many nations, but this was told to him, not because of his wealth or his view point. It was counted to him because of the faith he had in God. Yes we all makes mistakes but to have a genuine faith it God, and God approve of his faith. The faith that Abraham had God choose him to be the father of many nations.
So the promised that Abraham received, he didn’t see it comes to be fulfilled but he had faith in knowing that would be done.
Today as we talk about faith, it’s not that of book of Hebrew, but it’s about the understanding of what we believe in of God. Our faith lies in no man, creature, or object, but it’s all about the powerful works of God. The faith we have in Jesus, comes in to play because of who he is and what he has done for the entire world. He gave his life so we can be set free from the bondage of sin.
As we conclude tonight topic it was about our faith in God. What do you really believe in. The people before us had faith that was amazing. They knew of God and the things God has done. I am challenging you today go deeper into your faith. Get to know God more and more. Get the understanding why Jesus Christ did what he did. Most of all know the power of the Holy Spirit, that works in us. This conclude the fourth chapter or Romans. Just continue to have real faith in God, not looking at any other sources.
