In a little while I will be ordained as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Today is the beginning of consecration. Meaning now and upto the ordination not just myself but those who are being ordained on Sunday will be seeking God and come before his presence. Each person will be drawing closer to God according to the faith that is lad out in front of us.
I can’t say it for anyone else but for me it will be a time of seeking God in many ways. Ways of getting in his presence. Just as Moses went forth into the mountain. When he came down from the mountain they saw the glory of God shine upon him. This will be the way I view and see things. Come before God with a humble spirit. Asking him to forgive me, allowing the holy spirit to take charge over my life and most of all letting my mind stayed focus at the calling that God has put on my life.
This is my prayer to everyone everywhere who will be ordained as a minister, elder, evangelist, Bishop, pastors,deacon, apostle, and prophets this month and months to come.
God as you have given us this task before me and others this is my prayer. God you have known we have been walking in your pathway of duty. I come this day, not asking you for anything but to thank you for allowing myself and other to be ordained in the ministry as you call us into. Some are being ordained but in the ordination service, they are being elevated to do the work you have called them to do. We thank you that you have been with them for some time. Let them use their talent, gifting, and their ability that you gave the to do the work that is laid out in front of them .
Now use now in your service, give the a freshness and a renewed mind. Let their mind be fix and regulated on Jesus Christ. As they take on their roles or continue in the area they will be ordained in let them understand your power and strength. Let them be used by you in a mighty way. Let them be humble and show compassion towards each other. As they continue to do the work of you then them know who they are doing it for. They are doing for you and not because of man. Each person who will be ordained this month or in the future let them be led by the Holy Spirit, not by the flesh. Let them utilize their God given position for God and not for gaining power within their own lives.
Let them know also the charge they have said or about to say. Let them preach or teach in word in and out of season. Let them do as God will them to do and not what men wants to hear. Allow us all to know you better and get that wisdom, knowledge and understanding we need each day
Let us strive to serve others according to who you call us into. Knowing our main purpose is to bring people into the saving knowledge of Jesus. We know that people walk away from the truth, but as we preach the truth let it be done so in this manner. Teach and preach to reach others in the way the should know and receive the word of God.
Most of all for those who are being ordained you now will be under the microscope. People will be looking at us to see if we are walking the straight road that is in God. God help us to walk in the assignment you have given us 24/7. Meaning if we are public or a private place like in our home let us have the same spirit on us as we do before others. Strip us to nothing before your presence. We come naked before you because we have empty our life out to you. We want to be exposed to your spirit. We want to say yes to Jesus and allow us to be total in line to you God.
Finally, let’s not forget as we are being or have been ordained we are a representative of God. We are his ambassador. We are God spokes person. As we are doing let us be minded you see all. Nothing is hidden from you. God as I close this prayer your hands will protect, guide,lead, them all. Help them to be focus on the job you gave them at hand. Let your spirit God rest on them. Let the characters of Jesus Christ rest on those who have been or being ordained. Lastly let the Holy Spirit continue to impart on their lives. So they will be led down the right road as they minister to other. Most of all let them serve and obey God in a might way. In Jesus name we pray Amen Amen Amen
